"I’ve lived in Chancellor Manor for most of my life. If you would like to know if you would want to live here or not, I have the best answer for you. Chancellor Manor used to be a community. The office building was used as homework help for students k-12, there were summer reading, art classes by an amazing old man, Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts, the elementary schools would collab with the woman who was running it. Every easter there was an egg hunt, every other summer there was also a party in the main field with bouncy houses, games and a bunch of laughter. Even the moms in the neighborhood were tight knit and would sit on chairs or even the rocks. I remember when they would clean their rugs at the same time, ugh, good times man. The old maintenance team was filled with men and women who knew how to connect with the community. This no longer exists. If you have kids and want to raise your children in an amazing neighborhood, this place is not for you. Growing up, I would always defend CM compared to other neighborhoods but there is no defending this neighborhood now. Maybe it’s because of covid that a community no longer exists but i would say that even after a deadly virus, you would think a staff system would stay as amazing as the old one? Incorrect. I have never seen such disrespectful behavior from this new team. First of all, the whole rat and mice issue started in 2020/21 ish and they blamed the people of color (because that’s who lived in the neighborhood) for their cookings. If it were our smelly foods wouldn’t this problem occur years ago too? We found out that the rat problem began with the building that is now canes that was demolished and the rats in the warehouse came to our neighborhood. We never got an apology from their claims. If you want to live in a neighborhood where they blame everything on you, this might be the place to live! I do want to add that they are actively trying to evict household members that have been here for years. They have been doing a one parking spot limit which means if you have more than one car, you can’t park it in the neighborhood parking spots or it will be towed. I still don’t understand this but whatever. The maintenance used be filled with Latinos and now there’s only white people,i don’t want to be the barrer of bad news but hispanic men know how to get a job done. If it snows, you best believe they will not clear anything until a week later, sometimes won’t do it at all until the snow melts. If you don’t care about your cars well being, this is the place to live for you! They have security cameras around the neighborhood but if you want to know something that happened to you, sorry, they don’t have them. If you don’t care about your safety, this is the place for you! I do want to say though, that I understand slightly why they’re trying to evict people off the properties but it’s also evil considering this wouldn’t happen if the rat problem never occurred. Most somali houses are single parent households or even two parent households and the father most likely will not help around the house, nor … be a parent. Most somali houses have a million trillion kids. Usually how a somali household would work is the mom would go off to work, the kids would be dropped off at daycare and they would get picked back up when the mom is done with work. Somali daycares might be where all the trouble lies and why your kid acts the way they do but to purposefully evict them to get more people who have “class” is really disrespectful. In conclusion, I did have a good childhood with this neighborhood but your kids will not. I strongly recommend not to live in a neighborhood that will not help your kids improve in anyway while also struggling to find a community with the parents. RIP the best community to ever exist 2012-2019."
"I have no problems at chancellor manor. But that is because i have rented before and there are always rules. You people complaining are breaking rules and lying. Yup there are mice. There have also been a ton of mice treatments. Maybe you should blame your selves before you blame the staff."
"Worst place to live, between management, maintenance, pests, overall crime in the area, better off elsewhere. Found several mice infested with botflies, Pest control they hired made the situation worse. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Constantly was getting sick in this place. Maintenance came unwelcomed on many occasions with no warning but when asked to come, wouldn’t on time. Nitpicking management so if you like to hear complaints over very small ordeals, here you are. The place would be fine if they actually listened and took care of the place and didn’t decide to do half the job or get cheap with repairs."
"I’ve been living here for more then a decade and this new management has been the worst management that has taken over the office. There has been a lot of rodent problems for almost a year and they haven’t taken any serious action to get rid of it. When you call the office no one would answer the call nor would they try to get you an appointment and always make excuses. Also been being charged hourly for any service work from the maintenance crew hourly. Even if they don’t do anything they still charge you because “they took the time to come to your house”. The area I live in is so old and they aren’t taking any action to change it also. Worst management team."
"Chancellor manor is used be good place to live, but now this Management team are different they are represent the culture of their employer they are the worst team that I ever had experienced with. They don't know their job, no respect, no listening They made me hate the place and my friends too I suggested to the Higher Management in headquarter to fire this team. They destroy the dignity of company and they don't really care about"
