"TL;DR - I I strongly advise against living here and dealing with this company. I lived at this location for a couple of years and, it was the worst experience I have ever faced as a renter. Pros: The cleaning lady, did a great job of keeping the building clean, despite the conditions she had to work under. Maintenance was decent, and pretty responsive, although we could never get a hold of them after hours. Most of the residents are really nice, at least the ones I encountered on a regular basis. They finally installed fob readers, so you can use a key fob to get into the building, instead of your key breaking off in the lock. They have a package room , although I never used it, as I moved. Cons: The walls and ceilings are paper thin, good luck living under people. The buildings are old and outdated, they stick out like a sore thumb, especially now that there are new apartments being built in the area. When I walked down the hall and even in my unit, I could feel dips in the floor. I have seen the Medical Examiner here on a couple of occasions, need I say more? Along with that, you will see emergency services (Police and Fire Department) at least once a day. People failed to supervise their kids, they allowed their kids run through the hall and destroy the property. Instead of people throwing their trash down the chute, they would simply throw it on the floor of the garbage room, and it would get so bad you could not even open the door to the trash room, because there was so much trash piled up. The washers and dryers were subpar and fixing them did not seem to be a priority. There was one occasion that I know where there was smoke coming out of one of the dryers. There was another occasion where there was a gas leak in the laundry room, and everyone had to evacuate the building. You most likely better off going to the laundromat. In the winter time, when they decided to plow, parking was a catastrophe, as they would plow huge sections of the lot, and there will be nowhere for you to park. Also, in the notices they sent out, they would tell you need to move your car by 7am, or it will be towed, however, they will not start plowing until 9 or 10 am. There was a high turn over of employees, especially in the office; It seemed like every couple of months there was a new employee. Management here was and most likely still is, horrible! They were unprofessional, they "lose" paperwork and payments, and claim they never received it, they were completely ignorant of lease law, actually, they completely disregarded lease law, and they did as they pleased. They will come after you for charges THEY fail to include on your lease, then a couple of years later, they will charge you a huge bill for their discrepancy, which is illegal mind you. I spoke to a few attorneys who confirmed that their actions were illegal. To add insult to injury they will persist in their wrong doing, and corporate (Highland Management Group Inc) allows it. Which leads to my next point, corporate does not respond to correspondence, instead they bury their head in the sand and allow their incompetent employees to quite literally violate lease law and gaslight you. I would strongly advise against using auto pay to pay your rent, or if you do, be sure to set a limit they can take out, because if they decide to randomly place an invalid charge on your account, you will be charged/drafted in the amount they decide to place on your account. When you move out, do not expect to receive your deposit, they will keep it to make the repairs they are supposed to make anyway for regular wear and tear. This is a horrible entity, and if I would have know they were this bad, I would have never given them any consideration."

"Very unprofessional staff. Too expensive and for the buildings to be that old. They need updating, very dirty hall ways. Smells like cigarettes and marijuana. Save your money!!"

"Do not rent here you will regret it definitely. They are money hungry very cheap supplies used in the apartments. They send bills for things that they made up and you as a renter are not responsible for. Cleaners come once a month and that in between time it’s very dirty in halls kids and adults throw trash all over leave food in halls. Outside dog poop all over ground’s especially in winter. Kids run the halls and yell after school and on the weekends. The locks on building doors are broken most of the time so anyone has access to building. Police here very often. Save yourself the stress, headache and time live elsewhere."

"Be sure to ask to see the actual unit they are trying to rent to you, at the minimum the building the unit would be in. Only the main building has elevators and underground parking and the various buildings are not kept up the same. Not management's fault but the light rail construction is loud and constant. It's sad because lower income families in this community deserve better than this. No need to respond to this with some copy and paste statement."

"I've had a really good experience living here. Always able to get in contact with someone during their office hours, their maintenance workers respond promptly to requests. The place is decent and well kept. Plus they paint an accent wall for you when you move in and that was a HUGE bonus for me! EDIT: One year later and I still stand by my review. I will be signing my lease for a third year."
