Cambridge Towers Apartments

"Bobbi is a welcome addition to the management team. She seems to really care about the tenants and the building. I have been here about 2.5 years. I lost count on how many managers have been here after 10 of them. The maintenance person Jameel is awesome, he knows his stuff and gets stuff done correctly and fast. Past maintenance people not so much. I love this location and the sq ft I have in my studio apartment!. It is by everything and close to HWY 169, 7 and 100. The Shoppes at Knollwood, Target, Aldi's, Cub Food, etc. Downtown Hopkins is great. The balconies are huge (approx. 8' x 10') I spend my spring, summer and fall on mine! Yes the water gets shut off a lot, yes the elevators suck, but if you were 50 years old you too would have leaks and creaks and have a hard time getting up and down. I am giving this review based on current management. Because if I used the last 2+ years it would be one star."

"I have lived at Cambridge Towers for over 3 years and have had a good experience. The office manager Bobbi Jo is super friendly, helpful and efficient. Maintenance requests have been completed promptly and the community spaces are kept nice and clean. The location is great, the building is secure and the underground parking is a plus."

"This was my first apartment and I lived here for about 10 months. While the reviews about the water getting turned off fairly often are true, you have to remember that this is an old building, so you just kinda have to expect those things. This building is centrally located, and having so many shopping and dining options nearby is a huge plus. I work night shift, and since the walls and ceilings are cement, I rarely hear my neighbors. Management has been very friendly and attentive. Jamaal the maintenance guy is really friendly and helpful as well. I would totally stay here longer, but I am moving out of state for a job opportunity soon. Overall, not too bad and the rent prices are relatively cheap in this current economy."

"Im sure the experiences in the comments are/were valid but since Corey has taken over managing the building it appears to be improving in the short time I've been around. Looks like lots of things are getting replaced. Elevators are a bit old and I do slightly fear getting stuck but at least one works generally lol. Some minor issues with some light switches not staying off (I will probably put in a maintenance request) but honestly for the location and the quietness of the building I'm not mad. Unfortunately rent and utilities everywhere have gone up so I've just learned to accept it's just the world we live in right now. Overall I've had a good experience so far but I also didn't have to deal with the parking issues as I came in after it was already done. I'm hopeful they will continue to improve the building."
