Stanley Terrace Apartments

"There is a wasp problem outside the 8203 building. They fly outside our windows all day when it’s warm. One got into our bedroom through the a/c unit, and ten ladybugs within the span of a couple hours today. We were only supplied with one cover for two a/c units, and even with that bugs are still somehow getting through."

"Stanley terrace is a great starter apartment for anyone trying to find a quiet and nice area to live in. I lived at Stanley terrace for almost 2 years and I don’t have many complaints. The one bedroom apartment that I lived in was huge and that was a plus. The rent was very reasonable. The kitchen had all new appliances and new renovated cabinets, a lots of storage space. The whole apartment had a nice amount of storage. The only downside was that the place has very thin walls. And you can hear anyone walking and talking as well. They have a great pool to use in the summers. It would have been amazing if they had a community area and a gym but there are some gyms in close proximity. The garage is also a nice add on for winters. But they seriously need to update the garage, the drainage line that runs in the garage has really bad rusty coverings which genuinely hurt my cars tires, that is why the 4 star review. Otherwise Stanley terrace is a great place to live at."

"We're very happy with the grounds, the caretaker is very dedicated and takes great care of the building. If anything, the maintenance of the building needs more improvement; leaks or broken doors in the building take a little bit to be addressed. Everything else is just great."

"Management is responsive most of the time with questions. Maintenance has come in our apartment 2-3 times unannounced ahead of time (we know if they’ve been there due to a slip they leave) and we wish we could have been told before hand as we have a cat. They also shut off the water for random work without notifying us which is not often, maybe 3-4 times since we moved in. The apartments are quiet which is wonderful if you’re looking for that. Only downside is the people above us thunder when they walk at all hours of the night. One medium washer and dryer on each floor of our building. Nice to have them, but more would be nice. Usually will head to a laundry mat if I have a lot to do, especially bedding. The building is very clean. They have super nice staff that do amazing work to keep the halls and entryways clean! We lived there for two years. In the two years, we had two pipes burst as the wall the heater is on is super thin with single pane windows. If you move in, ask where the emergency shut off valves are for the radiators in each room. Overall a really nice place to live with great highway access and conveniently located near a lovely lake! Marked down for the maintenance coming in unannounced ahead of time and for not giving a notice ahead of shutting water off."

"We lived at the Stanley Terrace Apartments for two and a half years before moving into our house, and it was honestly hard to say goodbye. The apartments are massive with huge walk-in closets and ample storage space. The building is quiet, and the pool is nice enough but is rarely used, making it great to relax at in the summer. The units are newly remodeled with brand new appliances as well. Inside the units is very clean. The porch was a really nice bonus (tip: add a little turf grass to make it welcoming). You don't pay for water utility here (or heat, which comes from the baseboards), so you only need to pay for electricity and internet! The new property manager is great and was a nice improvement. She started and right away replaced all the outdoor lights that shine on the parking lots. Location of this apartment could not be much more ideal... super quick access to the interstate and 3-lane Hwy 100. Food or nature is an easy walk away, and Hyland recreation area is an easy bike ride or drive away. The only downside to the Stanley Terrace Apartments is shared laundry on each floor, but don't let that hold you back. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to refer a friend or family member to rent here. We'll look back at our time here fondly."
