Allina Health St. Francis Pharmacy

"Awesome staff, always help with insurance issues."

"Dropped off a prescription and the pharmacy tech looked at it and said, "This medication is on backorder." I advised her no it's not, it's generic and the medication is readily available. She then decided to argue with me about the medication. I told her normally I have it filled at the Allina Pharmacy in Apple Valley but I haven't been able to make it there due to getting off work late at my full-time job and coming to work at St. Francis. She then stated, "Well you could always take it to Apple Valley and they can order it for you." Granted I was in my Allina Health Coat with ID visible and still the tech was very rude. If we treated patients that way, we would be wrote up and eventually terminated. Her behavior was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. She did not have any sort of identification displayed either which is also not acceptable. She eventually went to the computer and looked it up and stated, "Oh I can order it and it'll be ready Monday some time after lunch." I told her thanks and that she didn't have to be so rude towards people and if she talks to employees that way, I can't imagine how she speaks to patients and I walked away."

"Pharmacist was quite rude. Without even checking our insurance carrier, told us that the meds needed were "never" covered, and quite expensive and would need to go elsewhere. We had to call the insurance company in her presence for her to hear not only is it covered , but is 100% free for us because we had met our deductible. We were then told that what she had was expired anyway and we would need to find another place to find it. There is a CVS directly across the street inside Target, and a Walgreens under a mile by 169, for a friendly experience go to one of these places."
