"Mike Armstrong has been a fantastic lawyer! He is very prompt in communication, and is careful to answer all my questions. He is always professional, and sets realistic expectations, and (perhaps sometimes difficult to find in a lawyer), he is kind. I would absolutely recommend him!"
"I hired her for my divorce and custody battle. She completely failed me on every level. I lost full custody because of her. She didn't even try to get me to win. I was young and had never been through a divorce and I picked the worst attorney around. Please if you're a woman and looking for custody do not use this woman. She gave me absolutely no advice or guidance during my divorce. This woman completely failed me because she wouldn't do her job! She only cares about money and not people's lives."
"I hired Johnni Rhodes to be my divorce/custody lawyer because someone recommended me to her, someone that used her 20 years ago so I thought she would be good, but to find out that it’s all money for her and that’s all she does it for, she doesn’t care about my family, nor myself when I called her to tell her that I needed a restraining order against a boyfriend that just started abusing me. She told me not to put a restraining order on him because it would only push out the divorce longer. Then later that abuse got worse. She dropped my case three days before Christmas because I didn’t pay her the $2000 that I owed even though I paid her thousands already which I was calling constantly leaving voice messages and emails to her to ask for a payment plan because my car was broke down so much to where all my money was literally going to the car. So I don’t recommend this lawyer she’ll leave you hanging by yourself, and in debt she does not care about others but herself and her money."
"It was highly recommend to use Mike Armstrong. After using for him for a year, I dropped him as an attorney. I heard he was cut throat but he was anything but. It always seem like I was bothering him. That’s not what I expect as a client. After taking to who recommend him, she said he was good on his own but maybe turned into a robot because that’s how Johnnie works. He always pushed to settle. While in court continue to tell me that they judge doesn’t want to hear the case (or something similar) and to hurry up through it. I sought out other legal advice and was shocked on things I could have done but didn’t because it always appeared for Mike to take the easy way out — going to my early point where I was always bothering him. Also I noticed that the paralegals/suport staff seem to change over a lot. It was hard to get monthly detail bills and follow ups. Most of the time, I would see my paperwork posted on the courts webpage days before I received it from the office. I gave 2 stars because when he is in court, he’s strong. Just everything before and after sucks."
"Johnnie was recommended to me as a lawyer who would fight for me in what I was told would be a simple case with my ex husband. She took a flat fee because she was so confident in the case. Well, that confidence ended up being arrogance. She dropped the ball because she assumed my ex wouldn’t actually follow through with going to court. I gave her more than enough documentation to defend me and she didn’t try to prepare anything until the day before the court case. I’m a single mom and was extremely disappointed in her “representation” that left me out of funds and none of my concerns were even addressed in court. You could tell that my case wasn’t important enough to her to even pretend to try. She wanted to get in and out and that’s what she did, she had no regard for the impact left on my son’s or my life."
