"I joined Fit. 1 because it fit into my schedule and I am so glad I did. The place is very clean and well laid out for the workout I am doing on my lunch hour. There is always an instructor available during your workout that will demonstrate the proper form and will encourage you to keep going, even if you want to give up. Thank you, Misty for your encouragement and treating me as a person and not just a number. I recommend the lunch workout for anyone who is trying to get back to working out and you don't know where to start. I have a long way to go, but I am happy I made this decision. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed."
"Absolutely love this place! A perfect mix of classes and times. Fun, knowledgeable instructors that encourage me to push myself."
"Great workout classes and mostly a nice staff whose trainers are fun to work with. Which is why it genuinely upsets me that this happened, hence why I’m leaving a Google review…something you’d never catch me do. I come to this gym pretty inconsistently (I live out of town) but I’ve been coming to classes for the last ~2 months. Upon walking in for a class today, I was stopped by the owner who basically told me to “cover up” because the other day I had worn a Lululemon-esque bra/top that showed a (I’m not even exaggerating here) sliver of mid-section. In fact, the top was actually too big on me, so it covered up even more when I’d pull it down. It’s not the biggest sin in the world, but this has just never happened to me before at any gym and I really felt compelled to say something/make any other goers aware: there is apparently an unwritten dress code here. In case anyone wants to wear a bra or top that (God forbid) shows a little bit of their tummy: you will be dress-coded by the owner because this apparently makes other gym members feel bad about themselves when you wear completely normal workout attire. Because I am an adult who does not need to be told what to wear for a workout class I am paying for, I won’t be coming back here. I mean, seriously, I grew up in a very Catholic, conservative household, where my outfits were constantly policed growing up…. and not even my workout shirt would set off any alarms there. Never thought I’d have to deal with this as an adult. It’s such a shame. Edit: I attached a photo of what I was wearing. For the record, this was something I wore at a workout yesterday that I was lambasted for today."
"Very helpful, personable staff who are passionate about every aspect of their business. They sell the highest quality products available on the market and can answer any questions about them. Highly recommend."
