Riverview Estates

"I wouldn't recommend these apartments for the following reasons. I took a tour of the building and it stunk. You could smell what I thought was mold, and cigarette smoke coming from various apartments. I thought it was smoke free...They do not allow you to have bird feeders, or any type decoration on your patio. The carpet in the hallways looks old, worn out, and grungy. edited 6/8/23: an aplication was never put in, so for them to say it was denied, is hilarious. did you read the above comments?"

"Do not apply here. They did not even complete the background/employment verification, they did not return any of my employers calls to verify income or rental history (I know because I am the manager at my work and also I am friends with previous rental management). They charged extra fees for an out of state back ground check without consent to extra fees. Have no criminal record, and have amazing credit and rental history, yet denied without explanation and only given a portion of the deposit back and they kept all the application fee, even though they did not actually do any of the checks for the application. Beware- Its a scam to get money from applicants. Shame on them."

"If I could rate 0 stars I would. The management here is absolutely awful, not only was my contact information blocked by the landlord I have been ignored, accused of things I did not do, and harassed for payments I do not owe. This last year of living at riverview estates has been nothing but stressful and irritating. I highly do not recommend living here unless new management is hired."

"I have been trying desperately to reach the management of this building. It seems that no one is EVER available. Their voicemail says your call is very important to us but no one ever returns the call. I would think they'd want to rent out apartments? I have good credit, a great rental history and I want to move in. It's so frustrating!!! If they ever call me back and get me in, I'll improve this score. I cannot imagine why ownership wouldn't want possible tenants called back?"

"I applied to the sunset apartment, which is managed by the same company as riverview, back in August. Two days after signing a pre-lease agreement to hold the apartment I was denied. Since they had not given a clear reason as to why I was denied I thought I would get my $300 deposit back. But this was not the case. Apparently just highlighting a part of the pre-lease agreement is enough for their management. I don't know if I had given "incorrect, false, misleading information or omissions" since they had highlighted all of this. I will be pursuing this vigorously and am prepared to take this further if I am not given a clear reason for my denial. In short, do not rent here. They will take your deposit and not give a reason why."
