"As a medical professional I believe in providing patients with the upmost care and respect. I'm on ozempic for diabetes. I placed a refill for my medication a week before I was due to take my shot. When I called to inquire about my medication. I was told that they didn't have any in stock. When I asked when they would get it back in stock. I was very bluntly told we don't know. So my question is this... 1. When they found out that they could not fill my prescription due to being out of stock, why did no one call me? I get it. The medicine is popular for weight loss but some people actually need it for diabetes. I believe I should have been informed that the medicine was on back order with no time frame in sight. 2. Why was I not given any direction on any follow up steps I should take? "Can you call your doctor to see if he can send you over a prescription for something else. Or we contacted your doctor and he said xyz." Either one of those two statements would have gone a long way. This entire situation is unacceptable. Back orders happen. But the "sucks to be you attitude" I received is unacceptable."
