"If I could give this zero stars, I would. It takes several days to deposit a check via mobile deposit and they will charge you an overdraft fee despite the funds being pending in the account. I finally got fed up and asked for my account to be closed so I could move my money to a bank that is actually decent and was told the account would be closed as soon as I moved the funds out of the account. When I go to check the day after the account was supposed to be closed I come to find that they had allowed a charge to go through and charged an overdraft fee after I had told them to close the account. They told me I needed to sign some documents but never sent them over and continue to charge overdraft fees. If you enjoy keeping your hard earned money DO NOT bank with gate city."

"Worst bank place ever horrible customer service and I told the guy that I wanted to start an account he said 10-15minutes at most didn't tell anyone than waited another 10 and still nothing so went and asked two different to help they failed and said they will get someone and did not do not recommend this place for anyone at all rather go to us bank or alerus financial if you want good service dont go to a place run by college students"
