Rush rooftop restaurant

"Last night was our first time at Rush and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. Our friends rented the dome for a birthday party, which seemed to be a fun and neat idea, but sadly, the service and food were both a huge disappointment. We ended up leaving an hour and a half before our reservation time for the was dome up. For the sake of this restaurant, I truly hope whoever is in charge can get things turned around for the better because it really is a nice place with high potential."

"Was so looking forward to going to Rush for the first time! Had a personal pizza. It was all very thick bread with just a little cheese and basil on top. The cranberry walnut salad was good. Please cut the tomatoes before serving (the juice of one spirted out all over my top), offer a thin pizza crust and add more toppings. Had a lovely time though because of the people we were with. If I go back, will definitely try something other than the pizza."

"Fantastic server, she was so kind and patient with us. We had the cheese stuffed focaccia, the marinara sauce was fabulous! Highly recommend the pesto pasta. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Plus locally sourced ingredients. Will definitely be back!"

"My recent visit to this restaurant left much to be desired. We ordered a variety of tapas and what was supposedly a large plate, but unfortunately, we ended up leaving 80% of our food untouched on our plates. The quality simply didn't match the price point. I shared my honest feedback with our waitress, pointing out that the food was inconsistently seasoned, ranging from underseasoned to overly salty. The vegetable pasta dish was a major letdown, as it was overwhelmingly dominated by a lemony taste, making it quite bland overall. To make matters worse, despite the disappointing experience, when we received the $80 check, there was no attempt to make amends or offer any form of compensation. The lack of proactive customer service only added to our disappointment. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance is charming and cozy, which is a plus. However, the cuteness of the establishment alone doesn't make up for the subpar food and service. The overall experience fell far short of what one would expect for the price. I don't mind spending money on good food, but in this case, it was an unfortunate waste of both time and money."

"New to the New Ulm area, and loving it, we do miss home and all the Minneapolis eateries. Last night we ate at Rush. The service was not the best, we thought maybe our waitress was new so we gave her a break, but the rooftop patio was beautiful. The food we had was delicious and very fairly priced. We loved it and will be back. The best part, because we have been missing Minneapolis, we felt like we were home. Thank you Rush!"
