Reviews of Pinehurst
"DO NOT RENT HERE! My husband and I have lived here since 2017 and it has progressively gotten worse. Since Sterling took over, the property itself has gone downhill. There's garbage everywhere and week old vomit in our entry way, which I had to call the City of Fargo about it. These apartments are riddled with MOLD (see photos attached of our tested apartment). Building 1724 has major Bed Bug issues due to all of the trash people bring in from dumpster diving (which is a major issue). Building 1770 has mold issues due to all the winter watermain breaks. They "forget" to turn the heat on in the entry ways, which in turn causes the pipes to freeze and burst out gallons of water. This has happened 4x in the last 5 years. Our apartment is on the 1st floor and the water flooded the hallway and seeped into our living room. To make matters worse, they now want to use a new system called Yes Management, that makes you pay for water, sewer, and garbage. The tenants will have to pay for the water that comes out of those breaks, along with other peoples bad habits. These apartments are just not worth the hassle. They are extremely overpriced for what you get. They have 1 (one) maintenance man for 450+ units, and go through managers every year or so. We were suppose to get new carpet, because ours is over 20 years old, but they keep dodging our calls, even though its on the lease as an incentive (classic bait & switch). Iassic Lippai (the current manager) is a blatant narcissist. Just remember that these type of ppl get commission when they rent you an apartment. So they will always start out sweet and innocent, but once they get you locked in, the pretty little mask comes off and the scumbags come out. My advice: Record any and all interactions and KEEP RECIEPTS. Our apartment also has a bunch of unfinished work that needs to be done and the garages are constantly getting broken into. There have been 3 garage break-ins that I currently know about. I witnessed one happen, where 2 kids broke into our upstairs neighbors garage and stole his car during the night. Another recently new neighbor had his car broken into DURING THE DAY! It was locked, he went inside for 10 mins, and came out to catch a guy going through his car. Needless to say, this place is not a healthy/safe environment."
"Living in these apartments was a decent experience. Maintenance was pretty responsive, the grounds are kept clean, they do a decent job of keeping up with snow removal during the winter. The previous leasing manager was not good. Isaac who is the current leasing manager is professional, responsive, and friendly. Overall not a bad experience."
"Holy cow, do not move into a 1st floor apartment. If you wanna listen to people walk on their heels and shake your light fixtures all day everyday. It gives me anxiety. And god forbid you ever get ahold of any management, and they when you do, they don't do a thing about it. It's very frustrating. **Edit- Though they are hard to get ahold of, the management ladies are super nice. So I'll change it to 3 stars solely because they're kind."
"We certainly wish Pinehurst would have had a three bedroom apartment available so we could have stayed. Management was great. Soundproofing was great - really missing it compared to where we are now. Landscaping and parking lots are well-maintained. I know it's already been seven months, but just wanted y'all to know how much y'all were appreciated! I highly recommend Pinehurst to anyone looking for a great place in a central location."
"We moved to this apartment 6 months ago, the management staff is good and they respond to all my concerns in a timely manner. The apartments are very clean and best part is walking storage room. The rent is quite economical and no parking issues. The only PROBLEM is laundry. There is laundry room in each floor of the building with 3 washers and 3 driers but they are very old and they eat-up lot of your quarters(coins) just like that without proper operation. After I moved in here, I recommended this to my friends and 2 of them moved with their families , they also liking it here."
