Los Tulipanes

"Went for lunch on a Saturday. Lots of people there, but got a seat right away. The staff was very friendly. Chips were good. The salsa was more of a tomato sauce with herbs and no spice or heat. I prefer my salsa to have some chucks of tomatoes and peppers and a little heat. We had the lunch taquitos with rice and refried beans. The rice was good. The refried beans were ok. They tasted like canned beans. The taquitos came as 1 beef and 1 chicken both made with corn tortillas. The meat in both was bland and dry. They needed a sauce or sour cream to dip in them and some spice. The atmosphere was nice and the place was very clean."

"My wife and ate here last week. It was not a pleasant experience. Michelada tasted like rotten lime. The beans tested way too much like canned beans, you could taste the metal! They probably used old oil to cook the chicken! It was just plain weird taste."

"Stopped late night passing through on a cross country trip. Food was pretty good for middle of nowhwere. Very salty but good. Would pass on the ground beef. Service wasn’t amazing, just average. they don’t tell you that not only do you pay up front but you also pick up your own check up front so we sat for quite a long time just waiting. Price was good though."

"The food here was wonderful, came in large portion sizes easily enough to have leftovers with, and tasted authentic in every way. The waiters were patient and happy to make sure we had everything we needed, the restaurant was clean and easy to navigate, and the inside decor was designed similarly to many other traditional Hispanic restaurants. Ate with two others here, and we'd all definitely recommend this place."

"Ate here on my way through town. Cute place. Had a chimichanga that was super good. Got a burrito to go for next day. Everything was excellent and fresh. Strawberry margarita was yummy and boozy. Service quick and pleasant."
