Reviews of The Early Years Place
"Our daughter loves The Early Years Place. The staff are friendly and attentive. They truly care about the children that they serve. My wife and I are so impressed with this facility. We highly recommend it!"
"I pulled my child from this daycare after my 6 month old was served the toddler lunch meal - noodles, meat, orange slices, and carrots. He was only eating purees at the time, and I had even provided his pureed food that morning, which they served him. I arrived to see him in a high chair attempting to eat the toddler lunch. I was shocked and horrified to see him being served food that he was unable to chew, as well as foods that he had never tried before. They were short-staffed this day and had a new worker, but serving a baby food not on an approved list is absolutely unacceptable. This is a lack of communication and training. This was the last straw which caused me to pull my son. Previous to this event, there were days I picked up my baby when he had not had a diaper change for the 5 hours he was in their care. I witnessed children consistently unhappy when I picked up my child mid-day, as well as a messy diaper change room and eating area. Overall I was very disappointed because I believe the director has good intentions. We did like several workers, but I believe most of the ones we liked have left."
"I would give 0 stars if possible. There is an ant infestation in the infant space. They get into formula boxes, the bottle parts, and run along all the baseboards. The bottle sanitizers grow mold and aren't cleaned properly. Dead roaches are found downstairs in the infant space quite often. The teachers try to make do and make it the best place possible, but the director limits what staff can do. We were supposed to have a cleaner start several times and they never did, so either staff buys cleaner and does it themselves or it stays dirty. She also has terrible communication among staff and parents. The goals of this daycare are great, but the communication and lack of respect from the director is appalling. The place looks great when you walk in, but the logistics and little details that make a daycare special are not there. I do have photo proof of some of the things listed and will not be recommending this place to anyone."
"We went to tour this daycare on March 10th. We were absolutely in love. This building is spacious, clean, close to my job and staff is detail oriented. You are set up with an app that gives you detailed information about your child's day. The tour was all in all great and very thorough, everything a parent could as for in a childcare facility. I give this place a 2 because the ball was dropped after the tour. My child's application was submitted on March 12 with a start date of March 27th. I had not heard anything, so I called March 15.. nothing. Sent another email March 17..nothing. Followed up with three more phone calls and a text to the lady we toured with... NOTHING. We were finally able to reach someone on March 21 that stated she would leave a note for Emily to give us a call on March 22. Guess what? I still haven't heard from anyone. As of March 24, 3 days before my child is projected to start, I still have not heard from anyone. I am so disappointed its unbelievable."
