"We had an overall nice stay at the Versailles until our last months there. We had issues with their smoke detector blaring even at 4am in the morning with no one cooking so we had no choice but to remove it. They said they'd replace it but until the day we left, they didn't replace it. That was about 3 months of no smoke detector. They didn't also return our deposit because of supposedly "carpet damage" worth $250 and "cleaning service" worth $150. We left the place with no damage to the carpet, had no heavy equipment getting dragged on the carpet or pets. We also left the apartment really clean, picked up all the garbage we had on sight and yet they had the audacity to charge us for cleaning service. Not sure if it's the new management or what but be warned about leaving this place, get photos and videos before leaving to show proof that you left the space clean and undamaged. Great start but left a really bad taste after leaving. Not going to recommend this place to a lot of my wife's colleagues, which are a lot coming due to its distance from her workplace. Choose The Pointe North Hills instead, they have better and cleaner space."
