"I'm sure your experience will be vastly dependent on which event you go to, but the venue itself was very comfortable. The historic architecture incredibly charming All of the seats are well positioned for good viewing no matter where you're seated. It can get dicy trying to maneuver through crowds when everybody is standing around, cause of a couple of pinch points, but if everybody is seated you'll have no problem with space."

"We had our wedding receprion here during the summer and everything was perfect! Lindsay is the best coordinator I've had and communicated well throughout the evening to make sure things went well. Her staff was friendly and service was exceptional. The food was talked about throughout the evening and in simple terms, the place is absolutely beautiful! I'm not planning on getting married again lol but this is the place to have your reception!"

"The Grand Event Center is a unique wedding venue about 45 minutes south of Minneapolis. We love the venue for its charm and that it is unique from most other venues. One of the best parts about The Grand is the convenience they offer. They can be the ceremony, the venue, the bartenders, and the caterers. This made everything extremely easy in the planning process. Lindsay and Jake are energetic, fun, and made our day so special. We are so thankful for them! The Grand also serves the best breakfast on Sundays!"

"Bride here! We had our wedding on 10/01. Couldn’t recommend this place more! They make it super easy. They are so laid back! And I literally didn’t have to worry about anything as far as coordinating day of, and we’re accommodating to quite a few odd special requests we had. They were never bothered by our questions, always responded back right away. We really like the food at the wedding. Chuck (the owner) is great and makes all the food himself - with help I’m sure. Wedding food usually isn’t great at most places, but people really enjoyed their dinner. They had way more food options than most places for a plated dinner. Up to 5 different food choices. And up to 5 keg taps to fill up with your requested beer. I bartended weddings, so I know a few things, seen it all. They are a great choice! The building itself is also impressive and unique. People really digged it! They also have their own sound system. We had a rock band and a DJ and they didn’t mind at all and let us go for it. Many thanks for a great evening Chuck and Lindsay!"

"I cannot recommend The Grand Event Center enough as a wedding venue! We and our 132 guests had an absolutely fantastic day. Bonnie is so easy to work with and answered every single question I had throughout the planning process (and there were many!). She and her staff provided excellent service all day! We received many compliments on the dinner Chuck prepared for us, and our guests loved the theatre vibe of the venue. We are over the moon with the service we received from everyone at The Grand!"
