Reviews of St. Paul Metro Treatment Center
"Wonderful workers, good da best service, respect from any clinic that I've ever been to,they rock hands down, they have time talk to you,I recommend this clinic to anyone.hell mfn YEAH .got my mind, body, soul on track, join us.nate cross -chapman"
"my girlfriend was supposed to have an intake appointment for her first dose here today, and without any kind of prior notice they canceled her appointment because they “lost a counselor” and now they don’t have room for her. We didn’t get a phone call or anything to let us know that she was being put at the bottom of the waiting list again, which is super messed up when they should have done that the MINUTE they found out, instead of letting us believe that she was able to come in today and then having us drive all the way there and only then finding out that the appointment was canceled . This isn’t a game, you are playing with peoples LIVES here, opiate addiction is NOT something you can just handle like a routine checkup appointment with your doc being canceled, she would’ve been looking ELSEWHERE for help had she known that they didn’t have room for her anymore instead of just relying on a clinic that clearly DOES NOT REALIZE or VALUE THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION WHEN IT COMES TO CANCELLING A POTENTIALLY LIFE SAVING APPOINTMENT WITH A PATIENT THAT TRUSTED THEM TO HELP. now we’re back at square one, and my girlfriend has been crying all morning because she feels so defeated and hopeless after months and months of waiting to get into somewhere and then when she finally thought there was hope THIS PLACE stripped that from her: I’m so upset with how this clinic just screwed up such a good thing"
"Pros: Great nursing staff, particularly Carrie. Clean, safe, no trouble in the parking lots. It's not in a bad neighborhood. The counselors are nice and caring but not very effective. They are really good about making sure you get your methadone paid for, if you're eligible. Cons: Long lines sometimes, they need to hire more staff. Since there's usually only one nurse on staff, the people who have weeks worth of take outs easily take 10-20 minutes per person. They seriously hold the line up. Kinda hard to find a staff member sometimes when they tell you that you need a UA or to make an appointment. VERY limited hours, I've missed several doses cause of their crazy hours. Every other clinic has better hours than this place. No holiday takeouts, instead they're open like 2 hours on holidays. Strict with takeouts, you have to attend groups to get any. Staff seems really eager to close exactly on time, if you're a minute late they will shut the door in your face. Literally. Parking lot can get really busy cause half the lot is reserved for the business across the street. Said business freaks out if you park in their lot. Hot and kind of crowded inside. Not enough seating. Rating - 3/5, would be higher if their hours didn't suck."
"I have been a patient at St. Paul Metro Treatment Center for nearly five years. This place saved my life, and I cannot imagine being where I am today if I had not found this place. The staff always seems to go out of their way to help you, and always show a great deal of respect. The only issue that I have with the clinic is the Clinic policy, or lack there of, on those clients that work full time, they seem to not put enough effort into being flexible for those that work dayshift, which is most Americans. That said, they more than make up for that by being a great treatment center. Over the years I have got to know most of the counselors, and they truly have your best interest at heart. They don’t prescribe to the “one size fits all” policy on their individual treatment plans, they truly understand that all of us are “weird, in our own way” which is a very important contributor to a successful treatment plan. The backbone of the clinic right now is the Nurse, I feel terrible that I can’t remember her name, but she is efficient, dedicated, genuine, just an awesome person. The administrative staff has also been terrific. Obviously, financial issues are very important to all of us, and Sandi has been unbelievable in that area. She is always “on the ball” and goes out of her way to make sure this part of the experience is smooth. Recently I’ve had the opportunity to work With Stacy, from the Rochester and more recently moved to Florida. Although she had never met me, and didn’t even work at this location she went above and beyond to make sure my statements were submitted to my insurance company for reimbursement. Of course, I can’t leave a review without talking about my Counselor, Frank. I can’t thank him enough for what he does for me, and ultimately my family. He truly “gets it” and I would recommend him with absolute highest regards. Thank you Frank!"
"St. Paul Metro Treatment is the best clinic around. They treat you like an individual and not a number. The clinic doesn’t feel clinical at all it’s super relaxed. Wendy who is like the face of the clinic. Always remembers everyone’s name and greets them with her wonderful smile. Then you go up to the Nurse Kari who is always so welcoming and remembers everyone as they walk up and keeps great track of your health and just overall being. The counselor Frank and Robb both are amazing they are great and really want to see you happy and sober and taking on the world as best you can. The Doctors there also are not just worried about your sobriety they are worried about your mental health and just overall health they realize many people come there with a pain problem so they make sure to help people with that also by working hand and hand with your counselors. This clinic is the best kept secret in Minnesota. The staff has everything to do with it!"
