"This clinic is everything we could hope for, and more. We are THRILLED to have found it. I was looking for an acupuncturist in the Twin Cities area for my 74 year old mother, who had never done acupuncture but had just been diagnosed with multiple myeloma (blood marrow cancer). I was excited to discover that MIMA offers a specific program for oncology support. (I myself have been working with acupuncturists for well over a decade in Los Angeles and had never specifically seen that.) Our first intake visit was just what my mother needed - Dr. Beaman (and Troy at the front desk!!) were extremely kind and welcoming, and she simply but expertly explained to my mother the benefits of her oncology support services, and how it all works. Without hesitation, we signed up for a 10-week program. We just finished our 3rd week (2x/week) and my mom couldn’t be happier. She LOVES Dr. Beaman (and as far as I can tell, so does everyone else), and the therapies she is simultaneously receiving (i.e. acupuncture, ozone therapy, electrical current therapy, Chinese herbs, and her fav at-home treatment - a maximum strength CBD oil with menthol).
