"After doing a 12hr shift I wanted to stop & get wine. This was the only place open at 7am & I regret giving them my business. I hate to pull the race card, but idk if the guy working the counter is racist or just plain RUDE. He opened the doors at 7:11am & as I was walking in behind him he allowed the door to close in my face. He never greeted me.!!! He just kept an angry look on his face like he was in a bad mood. He also dropped my change in my hand & you would have had to see it in order to believe/understand the level of disrespect that I felt. I'm NEVER going back again."

"Well I have to admit I must really be running out of steam but I will say I had a great experience at marathon steer liquor store Friday evening the cashier was new to me since I haven’t been their in a very long time very friendly kept a great conversation welcomed back we talked about the whipped cream vodka I told him about it . Anyway good place to stop and get your favorite beverages cocktails wines beer’s come to our markham liquor store you like it"

"The selection is great! Have more selection of bourbon than many of the bigger liquors. The people that work there are extremely nice and offer plenty of customer assistance. The only reason I did not give them 5 starts is because the price on some things are much higher than retail but not on everything."

"Very nice people and their prices for premium liquor are the lowest I've seen. Don't expect to understand what they say completely because they are foreign but they speak English enough to get by and that you understand. The area of the liquor store is not great but it's not the worse. There usually is 1 maybe 2 street people and they may ask for change but they are usually harmless. At night it gets shady in that area so do your shopping sooner than close to closing time if you're not wanting to be approached then it's probably not the place to shop for your wine, liquor and beer elsewhere. The liquor store is old and it's a bit rundown and the floors needs renovation. But the prices are great. Take someone with you if you're one to get uncomfortable easily, don't go there. If you know how to ward off the beggars and the typical "may I have your change" speech from the street people don't go here. If you want a great price then shop during daytime hours and if you shop there at night be aware of your surroundings"
