"I am very safe at Nystrom & Associates which creates and expresses a free and serene sense of being. I know in my "core" that my case manager at Nystrom & Associates cares deeply for me. I am always heard and affirmed despite my need to change some things. My case manager/ therapist is able to keep me on track when my mind gets sidetracked with my fear. He is very attentive and incredibly intellectual emotional expert. And when the moment need him to be, he's also very accessible and compassionate meeting me where I am in all moments. Many thanks"

"I do not recommend this practice. My husband and I went for marriage counseling for about one year. Huge waste of money and time for us. From my perspective it was like going to play in a therapist little black box. All these little therapy games and playing with toys in a sandbox. No input, feedback, suggestions or advice—nothing! The staff did nothing to ensure we were a good fit for the therapist other than asking if we’d prefer a boy or a girl therapist. In hindsight, our therapist was too inexperienced in both his job and too youthful to possess the wisdom acquired from experience that was required for the complexities of our marital problems. Once we saw a much older therapist in Stillwater—if I had to guess his age, I would say early sixties—who literally solved our biggest problem in 3 sessions. Not only do I feel like we got absolutely nowhere, but I feel we’re actually worse for the wear and the time spent there did more harm than good."

"My therapist was great... she cured me...said, at some point we all need to take responsibility for our life. That's it, I'm not going to have anymore problems because.... All I have to do is take responsibility for my life.... Guinness, wish I had thought if that years ago... so, just less then a year and I am all done seeing a therapist... Perfect.... Actually my therapist completed our sessions by accusing me of Sloth, diminishing my own life experiences by replacing them with her own, by passive aggressive means demanded that I see the world through her lense of view, thus saying to me that my life, my lense of view, my emotions are irrelevant. F U Therapy, Therapist, and all who have Apathy....! Why do people say stupid things? Unresolved trauma. It begs the question, "Should a person be a therapist if there is something about their past that could come out and destroy another person's existence?"

"I had a really great therapist here in 2021. She made me feel very safe and had a very welcoming, relaxed environment. Very attentive, actually cared and wanted to help. She did an amazing job debriefing and ending our sessions in a safe, stable state of mind before leaving. Awesome staff here, I’d highly recommend!"
