"Arrived just less than 10 minutes late, my fault, I thought it was at a different time but by the time I completed the online check in process the appointment was canceled. No one ever came out when I arrived which would've helped the process. I finally found the doctor, she said at 10 minutes the appointment cancels. Not a single other person in the lobby, no one in the exam room but she still wouldn't see me for a throat culture. We have a confirmed case in our house, it would've been a simple appt. Our healthcare system really needs an overhaul and some common sense!"
"Had an appointment for a flu shot. Was physically late by 5 minutes, and once I filled out the check-in papers it was closer to 10 minutes. The system did let us check in and the check-in site stated we were checked in. After a few minutes I checked the page again and it said our appointment was canceled. We waited a half hour with no one helping us so we left (we did eventually see the one doctor who told us it was canceled because we were late). Also, while we were there, a gentleman came in shortly after the pharmacy closed and stated he was waiting in line when the pharmacy closed and they refused his prescription (he did get it by going inside and banging on the pharmacy gate). Not a pleasant experience. Two stars only because the place was clean and quiet."
"I went in for an ear infection. After 10 minutes of explaining my situation the nurse practitioner took a few vitals. My BP was elevated - no real surprise given I’m sick and it’s a stressful situation. Rather than immediately checking my ears the NP said I needed to go to my doctors about the BP. Fine. Will do. But rather than checking my ears next she asked my weight. Completely irrelevant to the ear infection. I hesitated to respond. Rather than check my ears she said “well how long have you been at this weight?” Completely inappropriate and irrelevant to why I was there. By this time I just wanted to leave; however I came for antibiotics so I rode it out. She then - instead of checking my ears - proceeds to tell me I need to make “significant lifestyle changes if I want to be around for my two young kids.” Unbelievably inappropriate and again nothing to do with my ears. This woman has never met me and will never see me again and has zero right to say this to me. But alas here we are. By the time we finally get to checking my ears it takes about 30 seconds, yes they were infected, yes I had a perforated ear drum and yes I needed antibiotics. WHICH IS WHY I WENT! Finally as she went to give me my paperwork she reminded me one more time that I needed to go to the doctor for my BP and work on lifestyle changes. This woman should be fired for lack of ethics and just human decency. I get it. This is woman chastises bigger bodies probably due to her own fears about weight in a society that picks on big people. She saw an easy target and lashed out at me projecting all of her own issues on me, while making a million assumptions about me along the way. I feel sorry for her. But I also hope she’s never allowed to do this to another patient again."
"Was turned away 45 minutes before closing time because they were booked full with online appointments till close (just 1 other person waiting, but maybe it was a long appointment). That's fine; I get it, we're all busy these days. But no sympathy, no "I'm sorry we're full", just a belligerent and antagonistic attitude as if it was my fault that I didn't bother to go into an online system to reserve a spot for urgent care as I was driving in (which would have been illegal, to use the phone while driving like that). So an "urgent care" clinic that isn't urgent about things and doesn't care could use a better name, in my opinion. I had good experiences here 3 years ago, but I guess times have changed. Oh well."
"I went in to this location today because the Target location where I prefer to go was booked. The rn was really nice. He took the time to triage me however, the nurse practitioner kept calling him on the phone which interrupted him from finishing up the things he was trying to do in triage. Then when I moved into the next room with the nurse practitioner who I believe was named Emily, she just complained about the male nurse to me which was totally unprofessional and she was honestly the reason why it took longer for him to triage me since she called him on the phone 3 times. After that she then made me feel kind of bad that I was sick and said that most times adults don't get this sickness because they are better with hygiene. I shower daily, wash my hands all the freaking time but I have 4 kids, so sometimes we get exposed to a few germs. I still feel like I am in the process of developing an ear infection so we will see what happens. Bottom line, I wouldn't want to go to this location both as a patient or if I was an employee who ended up working with her. Yikes. I gave two stars because the guy nurse was really nice. Oh and the practitioner lady tried to tell me that the RN was new so she wanted him to get faster. No the heck he wasn't new because he totally tested me for covid several months or maybe even a year ago by now."
