House of Liquor

"So, my wife's uncle and I arrive at this liquor store around 7pm on a Friday. There is what appeared to be a very popular pizza place right next door. Uncle had ordered pizza to carry out from the pizza place and I needed several items from the liquor store. As all the parking spots were taken at the pizza place, we parked at the liquor store. They were not busy at all, only one car was parked in front and it appeared about 5 or 6 spots were still available. A women was walking out when we arrived, got into the car, then got right out as we exited Uncle's truck. She asked where we were going. Uncle said to get pizza and I said into the liquor store. She said, well you can't park here. Uncle said, ma'am he's going to spend money in the liquor store, I'm going to pick up pizza. She began to explain that they only had eight parking spots and pizza customers couldn't be taking up all their spots. He reiterated that I was a customer for her store, he was getting take out pizza. The weird preaching about parking and how long he would be continued until he said said, lady, I'm going to get the pizza and he's going in your store. She asked, take-out? He said , Yes! Then he walked off and I went inside the liquor store, reluctantly. When I checked out, she said she hoped she hadn't made that guy too mad, but that he didn't have to make her feel stupid? And she was parked in on of the upfront parking spaces herself, as an employee, lol! Wow. I paid and, if I ever go back to Uncle's vacation home in the amazing Hot Springs Village, I will take my liquor money elsewhere..."

"I purchased a 6 pack of Founders All Day IPA from House of Liquor on 3/29. I should have looked at the date on the bottles because after I opened the first one, I saw “bottled on 8/23”, over 7 months old!!! After about 2 months this should have been taken off the shelf."
