"Even if you’re dying, don’t ever hire this so-called attorney. If you care for your status and your money, don’t ever hire her she is good for nothing money eating leach!!! Save ursrlf and look for better attorneys who know what the are doing."
"My experience with Ms. Young was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an attorney--or from any other professional/business relationship, for that matter. Our immigration case was fairly simple. I've been married for 12 years and lived in the Philippines for 11 years before moving back to the U.S. in 2021. I retained Ms. Young's services in October 2021, to help secure an IR1 visa for my wife. At first, she was very helpful and responsive but once I made my first payment, things changed. Over the next 2+ years, Ms. Young became mostly unresponsive but when answering simple inquiries, always seemed agitated and argumentative. It was almost as if she thought I was working for her rather than the other way around. Her admin staff turned over at least twice during the time she was supposed to be helping us and became less competent each time. They had uploaded images of documents and photos to the USCIS portal that were partial scans and completely unreadable. After pointing this out, I ended up having to correct their mistakes myself because they didn't know how. I started uploading all of the additional documentation to the portal myself because I could no longer trust Ms. Young or her staff to do it properly. In addition, Ms. Young had given me expected timeframes for each stage of the process but was wrong on all of them and couldn't react quickly when certain things got completed faster than she expected. For example, she told me it would take 8-10 weeks for USCIS to send our case over to the NVC but once my Petition was approved, it was literally transmitted to NVC the next day. Ms. Young and her staff then did absolutely nothing for two months until they asked me to re-send copies of all of the documents I had already sent them two months prior. She got angry when I politely asked for an explanation for the incompetence and delay. What I got back was a bunch of excuses: Her kids were sick, she was a sole proprietor (which seemed to imply she either couldn't keep up with her workload or she's just lazy), she was having to help other clients (that were apparently more important than me), had more pressing issues, etc. She just seemed determined to delay my case as long as possible--and in retrospect, I believe it was entirely intentional. After my Petition was approved, she and her staff did nothing after I made my second payment for handling my wife's visa application. I ended up doing ALL of the work myself, including getting NVC's approval to expedite our case, which she and her staff had repeatedly told me wasn't possible (and they weren't willing to even try). Our case ended up taking 2 years and 2 months total. I had no contact from Ms. Young or her staff for the last 12 months of our case. She refused to respond to any of my inquiries, provide status updates, and basically failed to do anything on our behalf. I ended up doing all of the research myself, uploading all of the documents for my wife's visa application, preparing her for her medical exam and the needed follow-up appointments, scheduling all of her additional government requirements from agencies in the Philippines, addressing all of the communication to/from the U.S. Embassy in Manila, and scheduling and preparing my wife for her embassy interview--all of which Ms. Young had promised to do. She and her staff did absolutely nothing to assist us with the entire application process other than filling out the original form in the portal; most of which was simply copied from my Petition. To date, she has provided no refund of any payments made, which only confirms that she is exactly the type of attorney you don't want working for you. After having to do all the work myself, without assistance from Ms. Young, my wife arrived in the U.S. last month and just received her green card in the mail. I don't believe Ms. Young even knows or cares. If you need immigration assistance, don't waste your time with Ms. Young. There are plenty of other good immigration attorneys out there who will do the right thing; not take your money and disappear."
