"It is a very nice place once you're there. For first timers, the directions are confusing. The internet is off and on. Sometimes, there is no problem, but other times, there is no connection. Front wheel drive, at least is recommended. 4 wheel drive would be better. Take everything you need with you, because leaving and arriving is hard. Our family brought a 4 wheeler, and we were glad we did."
"Your a liar Annie. You have a serious problem maybe you need new house keepers.i didn't mind cleaning your place the ceiling fan in the bedroom was so thick in dirt an every door had dirty finger prints an the floors were dirty an there's no sense in you trying to make your self so upper. Beware she's very two faced an they have cameras spying on the guest everywhere. Which that is uncomfortable if yourlooking for privacy that's not very private..I worked my butt off in your home so the email that you left saying that you spent 3 extra hrs cleaning is not acceptable .you should beashamed to send the email that you sent.. it's not good business to tell us that we could come back but not our chil..you have lost your mind..see I didn't say a word about having to clean when I arrived but when you say something so untrue it's not nice.i totally had respect for your home so I'll leave it at that but to send a email an try to make us feel bad is not happening Mrs Annie."
"We were looking for a getaway deep in the woods of Arkansas's Ozark Mountains; a getaway that provided peace and quiet and a heavy dose of nature therapy. We found exactly what we were looking for, and more, at Creek's End Retreat. From rock hounding to trail hiking, from feeding the horses organic carrots and Fuji apples to taking a lot, a whole lot, of pictures, from a warm campfire and roasted hot dogs to quiet time on the swing on the screened-in back porch, our visit could not have been any better. Highlights for us included the Creek's End White Loop Trail (about 4 miles of easy to moderate hiking), a couple of rainy days that brought back the water to Thomas Creek and the East Fork of the Little Buffalo, our 2 new found friends occupying the pasture across the creek, the vibrant fall colors and the absolutely delicious homemade cookies. If you're looking for a great escape in the great outdoors in an absolutely beautiful location ... look no further than Creek's End Retreat!"
"Our family recently stayed at Creeks End retreat for a nice getaway. The cabin is cozy and very secluded, and sits right on the river. I plus, however there are some drawbacks here. The owners do not tell you that if the river rises, you can’t get in or out of there. The crossing is a concrete road, and you drive over water to get there. A heavy rain came a half hour after we got there causing the river to rise about 4 feet. If there is an emergency, you’re screwed. There is a way out, but you HAVE to have 4 wheel drive in order to do so. The amenities were nice. Cabin is fully stocked. Shampoo, conditioner etc. but if you use any, they want you to throw some money their way. It looked like it was stuff that had been left there by former guests. The screened in deck was very nice. The shower and washing machine just drains into the river, which is illegal. You can hear this as you’re sitting on the deck. There are little notes left everywhere asking this and that. All in all it was a nice getaway but won’t recommend it"
"Very lovely little cabin, it's so cute and has so much character. My husband and I came here with some friends for the weekend and loved it so much! It's out in the woods - very secluded and relaxing - exactly what we wanted this weekend. Hopefully we'll get to come back next year! Just a note, there is a low water bridge you have to cross..small cars won't cut it after a heavy rain. Thank goodness we brought our Jeep!"
