"Some are little bit out dated"
"Place as really gone down hill. They can't keep employees or staff mental health professionals due to their inability to change with the times and flat-out too arrogant to listen to suggestions which promote positive change. Staff is asked to do more then what is legal required and underpaid. If you're a patient and under the impression you're going to their facility to get help with mental health they are lying to you. There is not enough current mental health professionals on their staff to recieve the mental health services they advertise or you deserve as a patient. They'll makeup some bologne that as a patients you are getting mental health services because you attend a class for an hour and that is "mental health service" Which is bare minimum service and they all know it. In fact, they'll more than likely yank any mental health medications you're currently on and possibly / more than likely make your mental health worse. Than tell you they are 12 step / abstained based and you need to stop taking or never take the medications your provider placed you on. Ultimately putting someone with severe mental health concerns at extreme risk of relapse, suicide, etc. These ideals are typically told by someone who's an undertrained uninformed AA'er with no mental health training or credetials pushing their personal narcissistic agenda onto other's. The ones who really need the mental health therapy are "some" of their employees / state licensed employees. Current concerns range from employees / state licensed employees on drugs, handing out drugs to patients, exchanging personal numbers with patients, correspondence through text message with patients, providing rides to patients off the clock in their personal vehicles, loaning out personal credit cards to patients, giving cash to patents, asking patients to come to their personal residence, employees / state licensed employees having sexual relationships with patients, numerous hipaa violations (ie: releasing information about clients to the public with no written consent compromizing the clients safety and confidentiality) All of these issues are concealed and swept under the rug to preserve their "sweaky clean" image because that is most important to Project Turnabout. Client care and treatment of their employees comes last. Or is it ethics and morals come last? Too blurry to tell."
"I recently attended an inpatient program that was not project turnabout. I have been to project turnabout twice years ago. And to be honest, at first I didn't like it. I thought it was strict and too intense with all of the structure. But I stuck it out and completed the program and by the time I left I was crying and sad to leave. It was at project turnabout where I first discovered what true recovery was and for the first time in a long time what it felt like to have genuine friendships with other women. I learned I desperately needed all that structure in my life to be successful in recovery and after being in an inpatient recently that wasn't as strict, I respect and appreciate all those rules I once had and learned how important they are to hold me accountable in various areas of my life. And for my aftercare now, I decided to come back to project turnabout in Willmar because I respect the program and have love for it and always will. I feel like I'm where I'm meant to be, I feel like I'm home."
