"Dr Lee is my favorite MD! So quick to respond and process is quick and easy! I moved out of state and he is still my first choice! I will recommend to everyone I know."
"Best doctor I've ever had. Very knowledgeable and never, ever overcharges. The man just works hard for his patients. He's a saint. I trust him 100%."
"Do NOT wait. Call Dr. Lee immediately. He truly is a gem in the medical field. Two years ago I was on a trip to San Francisco when I ended up being emergently hospitalized and nearly died from a strep infection I didn’t know I had. I was admitted to UCSF, which is well-regarded as one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world. While their emergency department DID save my life, I received insufficient followup care from their hospital and my primary care physicians upon my return home as well. One afternoon I was feeling very ill, convinced my infection had returned. I was deliberating over whether or not I should go to the ER, or wait it out until my next scheduled followup with a primary. I had been told by my doctors that after my intensive rounds of oral and IV antibiotics and an abscesses fluid drainage pump vacuuming out the infection from my abdomen for three weeks that I “should” be okay now and that I would only need to see my primary 6 months later for a followup. It was late on a Saturday and walk-in clinics were closed so my options were to go to the ER or wait another few months to see my doctor. As a last-ditch effort, I figured I would call Dollar Clinic to find out if they could see me. To my surprise, it wasn’t a receptionist or scheduler to take the call but the physician himself. I explained to him my recent near-death/sepsis incident and that I didn’t feel comfortable waiting any longer for a followup as all of my symptoms had returned. Not only did he listen and pay close attention to all of my concerns he was the first Doctor (out of DOZENS at UCSF) to listen to all of my concerns in full, as in what some of my suspicions were as for the culprit leading to the initial infection and why it might not be resolved yet. He validated that my suspicions were absolutely plausible and offered to order blood tests immediately. We ended up talking for close to an hour on that late Saturday afternoon and that was more time and attention than any Doctor had given me throughout my entire three-week stay at UCSF. I could not believe that it was possible to call a doctor on a direct line and for him to also take me seriously and carefully consider all of the information I was giving him. We determined that he did not have the necessary medical equipment in his office that would be required for him to treat me personally but he advised that I absolutely did need to go to the hospital and that waiting to see a primary months later was not an option (even though that was the advice I’d been given by my physicians.) Thanks to him I did decide to seek out immediate emergency care and it turned out that my hunch and Dr. Lee’s advice were solid. Not only had my infection returned, it was even worse than before and had spread to vital organs in my body. I needed emergency surgery right away and if I hadn’t called Dr. Lee that afternoon, there’s a high likelihood I wouldn’t be alive today or I would have at least suffered organ failure. What’s more unbelievable, beyond the unprecedented time, attention, and care he gave me-he didn’t charge me a dime. I am forever grateful for Dr. Lee’s competency, swift and thorough thinking, and for demonstrating his commitment to being in the medical field for all the right reasons-to actually help people. Of course most doctors are brilliant people who have the same intentions but the poor operational relationships between insurance companies, different departments, hospital networks, and individual doctors not actually communicating with each other effectively leads to an overall dysfunctional system. Bureaucracy and dysfunction shouldn’t be the standard where direct and effective care from folks like Dr. Lee are the rare exception to the rule, but that’s where we are. I would advise anyone of any budget, insured or uninsured to seek him out if you are not getting or are unable to receive the medical care you need. He’s truly a gift to the community."
"Called Dr. Lee is literally a life saver! I lost my rescue inhaler and I was in a bind. I called him around 7pm and in minutes he was able to get a prescription over to the pharmacy. I am so grateful for Dr Lee!"
"Dr Lee is the best Dr I have ever seen. He is very kind loving understanding and really cares. He is the greatest. I trust him with my life."
