"The doctors and nursing staff are nice folks, however the food staff is very unprofessional. The night we were there my mother ordered her food at 4 pm we waited about 6 pm we asked when the food was too arrive. At 7 pm they told us there was a glitch in the system, no one got food. But we could get her a cold sandwich and bowl off soup. My mother hasn't eaten since the day before, that was unacceptable. They need new food staff."

"My grandma arrived at the ER yesterday with symptoms of a stroke. After doing some testing, they determined there was "nothing wrong" with her (because the tests said so) and sent her home, EVEN THOUGH her symptoms were still indicative of a stroke. When my family asked what they should do if her blood pressure didn't come down, one of the staff members looked at them and said "I don't get paid enough to answer that question." My sister and mom ended up driving her to the ER in Sioux Falls where they ran more tests determining she indeed *was* having a stroke. She's been admitted to Sanford and is being treated with the highest level of care there. This is blatant negligence on the part of Prairie Lakes ER. As you know, time is a matter of life and death to someone who is having a stroke. Yet they were comfortable sending her home with stroke symptoms? Unbelievable. DO NOT go to this ER if you want competent care."

"Thank you to Dr. Pray‐Dede and the nursing staff for delivering our baby girl. We were treated with great care and respect. The nursery team nurses, staff, and the care we received was excellent everyone was friendly. Two nurses I would like to especially thank is Abby and Rachel. Abby is so nice and friendly regardless of what you need she will gladly do it, she is a sweetheart. Rachel is so nice and would do everything she can to keep you comfortable step by step until delivery. Those two deserve a raise! Well Pray dede is one of the best OBs we've seen the knowledge and professionalism she has puts us at ease! Thank you to everyone at Prairie lakes hospital keep up the great work we will be back if there's another baby in the future!"

"Had to get stitches in my forearm. Left me waiting for 45 minutes and didn't even come look to see how bad it even was (and my hands were covered in blood. Then gave me a student to stitch me up. Dropped a piece of equipment on the floor. Picked it up, and thank god didn't use it. But never changed her gloves. Now i have an infection in my arm. Thanks a lot!! Gonna be calling a supervisor tomorrow."
