Reviews of Green Oak Center
"The employees who work there are horrible. I had a stuck card at the pump the employees were outside talking they followed me in the store I told them my problem which was a stuck credit card in the slot she said I will turn the pump off then you can get it out. I tried explaining the pump was not on she cut me off so I went outside and of course the card was stuck. I went back in the store to tell them. She said if your card wasn’t in there wrong it would come out. I said I don’t believe card is in wrong she was so rude and said I will get the pliers so she came out and got the card out and wanted to argue with me. I think the girl has a drug issue. Date is October 27, 2023 approximately 1:45 pm. Horrible place"

"Title: Concerned Resident's Review of Green Oak Center As a concerned resident of Farmington, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on Green Oak Center, a local establishment that has been a source of considerable distress for our community. While I acknowledge that Green Oak Center operates as a convenience store, my review primarily revolves around its involvement in gambling activities, the presence of illegal substances, and the negative impact it has on our neighborhood. First and foremost, Green Oak Center houses 22 gambling machines at the front of the store, creating an environment that encourages games of chance. This is a matter of great concern, as it fosters gambling habits in our community and can potentially lead to addiction issues among residents. Equally alarming is the observation that cash payouts are regularly made to customers, further reinforcing the gambling culture within the store. I have personally witnessed these transactions taking place, which raises questions about the legality of their operations. Moreover, it has come to my attention that some customers engage in drug-related activities while using these machines, which is an utterly unacceptable situation. Such behavior poses a significant threat to the safety and well-being of our community members. I have taken several steps to address these concerns. I have personally spoken with the store owner, Mr. Sudesh Sharma, on multiple occasions, urging him to cease the operation of gambling machines. Additionally, I have written letters to both the Washington County Prosecutor's Office and the Sheriff's Office, detailing the issues at hand. They have assured me that they are actively investigating the store and will take appropriate action against those not abiding by the law. In my efforts to support these investigations, I have provided video evidence to law enforcement agencies, which clearly shows the store clerk issuing cash payouts to regular customers. It is my hope that these actions will lead to a resolution that safeguards the interests of our community and upholds the law. Lastly, it is worth noting that Green Oak Center promotes gambling by displaying winning cash payouts on their door. This not only normalizes gambling but also encourages residents to partake in these activities. In conclusion, I implore Mr. Sudesh Sharma, the owner of Green Oak Center, to reconsider the impact of his business on our community. It is my sincere hope that this review will shed light on the issues at hand and contribute to the betterment of our beloved Farmington community."
