Reviews of Landmark's Lagoon Cinema
"I love this neighborhood theatre. They show interesting and fun films, some of which you can't find anywhere else."
"Love this theater. Ticket prices are reasonable especially on Tuesdays. Screen is nicely sized and seating is comfortable enough. Employees working here are cool and friendly! My one gripe is the price of concessions, but every theater seems to have extremely high prices so nothing out of the ordinary. Bathroom is okay."
"Came here for the first time for an evening showing of Poor Things here. It's a great little theatre and the people working here were kind. It's nice to have a theatre in Uptown."
"The Lagoon is my favorite theatre in the south Minneapolis area. It’s clean, and the customer service is fantastic. Kallie (sp?) was exceptionally kind and helpful and personable during my show today."
"I came here in Christmas morning for an 11:30 show. This is the only location in the Twin Cities area showing "If Beale Street could talk." the bathrooms were super clean, however they are in the second floor with no elevator in sight--making it a difficult trip for my 73 year old mother. The theater itself was clean and the sound quality, while not the best, was sufficient for this movie. There was a long line for both tickets and concessions. I can attribute that to it being a holiday. However, another employee came running down the stairs to help but ended up literally only taking 1 order before moving on. So much for great customer service. Parking costs are pretty similar to the rest of Uptown. We ended up paying $7 for the movie ticket and $10.50 for the parking costs (for 2-3 hours)."
