Home2 Suites by Hilton Minneapolis University Area

"My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Home2 a few weekends ago for one night. As someone who does not particularly like staying in hotels, I found this stay to be quite pleasant. The lobby area was very clean and nicely styled, and the check in process was smooth. Our room was excellent - I tend to feel uneasy about the cleanliness of hotel rooms, but the bathroom, kitchenette, and bed all exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed a few drinks at the lobby bar before heading out for the night as well. The espresso martinis were tasty and there were a few other groups there at the same time, making for an enjoyable atmosphere before heading to our event. There was a large breakfast set up the following morning, which we didn't fully try as we had other breakfast plans; We did however have some fresh fruit, coffee, and eggs between the two of us before packing up and they were a nice start to the morning. We would highly recommend the Home2 for a short or extended stay if you need to be by the UMN campus or close to downtown Minneapolis at a reasonable price!"

"Stayed here while my husband was at the U of Minnesota hospital. The best part was the shuttle because my family could use it to get around the college. The room were large and we got connecting rooms. My son enjoyed the pool and it was below zero and they had underground parking and the shuttle. Wish it was warmer so we could used the roof top. We did eat at the bar after a long Day at the hospital."

"Room was clean and comfortable, however difficult to control temperature in the room. The TV turns on at 6:30 am by itself. Also housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 am the day we were checking out to see when we were leaving, we stayed there for a concert and got back late the night before. Needless to say the early morning wake ups were not appreciated."

"Recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Minneapolis University Area for work. Checked in the afternoon of 10-8-2023. Two people were working the front desk. A woman and a young man. The lady was great and extremely helpful. While the guy working was not so helpful. It was like pulling teeth to get him to help you. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. But be careful the bed frame has a bar the sticks out a little ( I bumped my leg against it twice). The hotel is located in an area where there a number of restaurants ( within walking distance) and a market in the general area. Also it's not far from the downtown area. Where there are some decent restaurants. Housekeeping was great ."
