"0 Stars if I could. Like many others have posted recently I too am having issues with The Wood Shed. We have bought mantels from him in the past and always had a great experience. We wanted a beautiful custom wood table for our family dinning room and asked if he would build one. He said he would and required a $2,000 deposit for the tables. This was in June of 23’. Table was supposed to be finished in August. August came and went and although we checked in on the progress of our table, it was never completed. September and October were filled with promises of finishing our tables, but kept on getting different excuses as to why it wasn’t done. Then, at the end of October we were offered from Jason, a full refund. We accepted. Since then, Jason has given us excused from debit card issues, banking issues, Venmo issues and most recently medical issues. Reading these google reviews makes me feel like he has been having some issues for a bit now. Which is really unfortunate as he does do great work. Really unfortunate situation we are in and now out $2,000. Sounds like probably others are in the same boat."

"What an absolute horrible experience is has been dealing with Jason. We did everything an ideal customer would do. We were patient. We paid upfront in September of 2021. We we’re understanding of setbacks. Jason built us incorrect furniture twice KNOWING he did so and still told us to come pick up our furniture… we get there, realize it’s incorrect and also missing a 9 drawer dresser and have yet to receive the correct furniture or our money back. This scenario was over a year ago. I would absolutely stay away from doing business with jason. I refuse to believe that these results are the typical situation but this has been our nightmare of an experience."

"My experience with The Wood Shed is pretty bad. It started in March of 2022 with a deposit for a 1900.00 kitchen table, wait time given was 5-6 months. A couple months later I purchased 13k in equipment trailer lumber through the business I work for and recieved about 2/3 of the order. Fast forward another 4 months. Was told my kitchen table was 2 or 3 projects out. Wait time 2-3 weeks. Still no sign of the 1/3 remaining equipment trailer lumber. 7 weeks later, no communication on my kitchen table. No trailer lumber. Asked status, table was not started. Balance of trailer lumber showed up. Asked for refund of 500.00 deposit. Family emergency came up. Fast forward to May of 2023. Drove to pick up my deposit. Was short 40$ of the 500.00 deposit. This was my experience."

"Jason the owner has a quality of workmanship that is awesome. He sells wood for you to do your own projects or he can build you some spectacular things. His pre finished product looks incredible it's amazing what you can do with barn wood!"
