"This place is really just a highly overpriced thrift store. It is extremely cluttered inside, shelves are overflowing with merchandise and you have to be very careful not to trip over anything."
"Small place, cute stuff. Very compact. Nice cashier."
"Amazing!! I too found this shop out of pure luck (we got lost trying to find our way back onto the interstate from Alexandria) and I’m so happy I did! So many amazing vintage pieces and the owner was super sweet. Don’t forget to look up when you’re there... the ceilings were refurbished and HAND painted!"
"We found Osakis and this shop by accident during one of our many trips from Western ND to the cities during the last 4 yrs. We stopped in this shop and instantly fell in love with the fascinating treasures being offered for very reasonable prices. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were even able to help provide decor to our local pharmacy who was in need of items to put in to his old fashioned soda shoppe. Definitely worth the 3 mile detour off I-94 . . . Exit 114, don't miss it!"
"The owner of this little place is super friendly. It’s a tiny shop, in a charming old building with a beautifully restored ceiling. I have no complaints about this particular shop, which I browsed for 5-10 minutes. It was a pleasant experience. If you’re driving past Osakis on the interstate and want to stop and do some antique shopping, my advice is to keep driving to Alexandria, where there are more shops, the shops are bigger and there are public restrooms. It is difficult to find a public restroom in Osakis. I ended up walking down to the lake and using a Porta Potty. If you think you might develop the urge while you’re shopping, skip Osakis and keep driving a couple miles over to Alexandria. It’s too bad, because the people here are friendly."
