"This place is immaculate, charming and cozy! We had the nicest stay here and the hosts prepared wonderful hot breakfast each morning. The views are beautiful. Best B & B experience ever!"
"We stayed for two nights in May 2023 and had a very pleasant visit. From the B&B, we cycled directly to the Central Lakes State Trail (part of the Rails-to-Trails network in Minnesota), just a few minutes away, and then followed the well-paved, scenic trail to Alexandria and Osakis (about 40 miles round trip). The lodge was peaceful and quiet with kind and hospitable hosts, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommended!"
"We had an amazing stay at Spirit Cove Lodge. We stayed over the weekend while we were in the area for our grandson's hockey tournament. Craig and Janet were very accommodating hosts! Breakfasts were delicious and the view was a picture perfect winter scene, including several deer! The lodge is roomy yet cozy. We hope to be back!"
"How often have you seen photos of a place to stay that made it look lovely and then…reality. Dear reader, fear not, the photos of Spirit Cove Lodge do not even begin to do justice to this Bed and Breakfast. And I agree with all the reviews (except for the comments about flies hindering hiking as this was not a problem for us and it isn’t appropriate for families with young children). As I said to the owner, I believe this is the nicest Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful as is the entire building and the grounds are picture perfect. Being so close to the bike trail is wonderful. All you need to do is drive down the driveway back to the highway, cross over and there is the trail. If I should be back this way in the future, I would stay here without a second thought and I encourage anyone coming to this area (Long Prairie, Browerville, Alexandria etc.) to stay here. You will not be disappointed. And to repeat what has been said by nearly every other comment, the breakfast is wonderful and imaginative."
"This is a beautiful home! Absolutely the cleanest, most well maintained lodging we have ever stayed at! It was close to town, yet tucked away and peaceful. Craig and Janet treated us like VIP’s! Not only did we have the best breakfasts we have ever had, Janet was able to accommodate my gluten free diet. They also allowed us to use their outbuilding to plug in our e-bikes. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!"
