"We have been going there for years. Would not change a thing. We do have to rent more cabins now because everyone has grown up and we need more space. It is a beautiful lake. Sunsets are magnificent on the water."
"Nice cabin, the little bit we we saw of the owner was ok. Since it seems that they are selling off the cabins, we felt like we were invading on other people's privacy."
"The owners are a fun family that's willing to help a guest out. The lake is clean and fun to dive. I've been down to 25 feet, no problem"
"Nice and helpful people, decent campgrounds, available rental boats and cabins, free use of canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats for guests, nearby grocery stores, gas stations and fishing/tackle stores all within 10 minutes, good fishing, owners are Husker fans, always willing to help you out in a bind, very quiet. Would recommend to those looking to stay a week."
"While the dock set ups, fish house, swimming beach and harbor parking for boats were great, the cabin we stayed in was in very poor condition. Window frames we're rotted and did very little in keeping bugs out. We probably got more bug bites from sitting inside than we did at all outside. The screen door was very broken when we arrived and eventually just fell off the track completely. The stove was very janky, it was either on or off, nothing in between. Trying to make bacon was very interesting. The cabin had four bedrooms but only one bathroom. The bathroom wasn't too bad, the shower head was very loud and there was this weird stain by the door though. We were told at a sport and travel (where we meet the owners) that they had wifi, but they didn't. There was also no air conditioning, which wasn't so bad since it doesn't get too hot in Minnesota, but it made it hard to sleep in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall it was very overpriced for the condition the cabin was in. Unfortunately we won't be returning to this resort for next year's Minnesota trip."
