"My greatest compliment to the UUMCDC is in the staff's love of their jobs. This is a group of people who love children; their curiosity, their playfulness and their minds - each of which are nourished in each child's own developmental time. There is no push in any which direction, only a guidance in creating a safe place to play-based learning. When I first needed care for my 3 month old and returning to work - I was terrified at the "business-like" feel most daycares had. Then I came here. That 3 month old is now 6 years and my second child is now 4 years. Both have, and continue to be kind, curious and have a love of learning that I attribute to the teachings of these caregivers.
