Auntie Alyx's Childcare

"I wouldn't recommend Alyx to anyone. My child was starving each time I picked her up and in tears. She also practiced a "do as I say, not as I do" mentality. An example of this was when I called Sunday afternoon to see if she could watch my daughter as a "drop in" because she advertises that she does drop ins, she did not answer or respond at all and lectured me that the weekends are "her time" and didn't get back to me until after she opened on Monday. So how does she get drop ins? most working parents only know the day before if they need a drop in. So don't expect good communication with her. I brought my daughter there 5 minutes early where she again lectured me that her license starts at 7am. This seemed fair so I acknowledged and followed her rules only to have her twice not to open at 7am and caused me to be late for work and nearly losing my job. So again, 'do as I say, not as I do". As a first time father needing daycare, she gave me the worst experience possible. Thank God I found another daycare that is the complete opposite of my experience with Alyx."

"Alyx is the best! Both my children have been in her care since she has opened her doors in Brandon, MN. She has a lot of experience with working with children in and out of a daycare setting and holds a degree in early childhood education. These are important things that I look for in a daycare provider and someone that will be spending a lot of time with my children. My kids always come home in good spirits when they spend the day at Alyx’s because she provides them with a structured day that includes fun activities and play. Her home is safe and she has a large fenced in backyard with a lot of fun stuff for the kiddos to play with. Seriously, my toddler probably thinks that our house is boring because there was always new toys being rotated in for her to play with at daycare. Alyx does the CUTEST art projects/crafts with the kids too. Our fridge is plastered with them! I would recommend Alyx to anyone looking for childcare in our area!"

"Alyx is THE best! She is so loving towards my kids and treats them like her own. She has a very structured business and contract which I really like so there's no confusion anywhere. Her home is safe and has a large yard for the kids which I love. Her communication is very clear and does her best to accommodate my wishes as a parent. I trust her with my kids any day! She's a hard worker and strives to give all her daycare kids the best experience."
