"My daughter started at Mathnasium at the Lakeville location at the beginning of summer 2020. She is bright but math was always stressful for her so I feared distance learning and the “summer slide” was going to put her behind. In addition to that, she would get push back whenever we tried to help her with math homework. She was only in third grade at the time, so I anticipated many more years of fights and struggles to get her math homework done. I refused to let her get into the mindset that she’s just not smart enough... I knew that if she worked at it and applied herself, she would understand it. From the first time she set foot inside, she loved it. She actually likes doing math now! It is such a nurturing environment and their methods work really well for her. I’m very thankful for Mathnasium’s help. Most importantly, Mathnasium has given my daughter the confidence to know that she can do things that seem really hard, which will serve her very well for years to come!"
