Courtyard by Marriott Edina Bloomington

"Went here for a wedding. Worst experience ever. They had no service. They put heavy pictures of water on the tables and never refilled without tracking somebody down to get more. They had four different workers standing at the bar even though none of the guests were at the bar because the prices were still outrageous. $8 for a can of beer. You would think you were at a concert or a stadium. The food was horrible. Worst chicken that I've ever had and ended up sick to my stomach that night. A worker dropped a plate on the floor and it shattered. She got down on her hands and knees and picked it up with her fingers. I figured she would come back with a vacuum she didn't. We had little kids there that could have went crawling around in the glass. She never came back and cleaned it up. Never even put a sign to be careful etc. There was one young man that was working and he was trying his best to get to the tables to clear dishes etc. But he couldn't keep up with just him as his four co-workers stood at the empty bar. One guest asked a worker what we should do with our empty plates and she snapped at him that somebody would be coming to get them. But no one ever came until way later. So we sat with dirty dishes on our plates and no water. I know my aunt spent a lot of money on this wedding and I was angry on her be half that they did such a horrible job."

"If you're flying out of MSP, definitely consider this hotel. We chose them for their park, stay and fly package. After our experience, we'll stay every time we fly out of MSP or have a weekend getaway to Mall of America. The hotel lobby is chill and has a Starbucks in it. The rooms are awesome with a massive TV that swivels out from the wall. We only spent $24 more for staying here versus paying for 7 days parking in the airport and highly recommend it."

"I was charged for room service food I never received. When I questioned the person delivering the food and the front desk about it they indicated the hotel did not have the item, although it was on the hotel-specific menu I used to order from on my phone and was fully charged here. Here is where it gets interesting... a simple request for refund was rejected by the attendants on duty, there was no apology, and yet they acted like they were being insulted by being asked for a refund for something they did not provide. Unethical and Immoral? Certainly. Criminal? I think so."

"Clean, nice front desk staff, comfortable bed, plentiful towels, BUILT IN BATHROOM NIGHTLIGHT. Say no more. One complaint- and I’m not sure if I blame Marriott or this specific hotel 1- my reservation was canceled mysteriously the day of check in. Front desk was very quick to rectify, so ended up not being a problem. I don’t want to take a way stars due to Marriott corporate having a terrible booking system, so I won’t."

"The staff were truly outstanding! We stayed at this hotel multiple times due to a family member being hospitalized nearby. The staff were warm and supportive each time we stayed. They honestly made such a hard situation easier with a warm greeting each time we returned. This last time around, Ronda went above and beyond and I’m truly grateful for her kindness. I can’t thank you and your staff for such a wonderful experience when everything else in life seemed to be going wrong. We had no issues with the rooms and had a great experience all around."
