North Memorial Health Clinic & Urgent Care - Elk River

"Called the triage nurse with symptoms of left chest pain radiating into my left arm...could be muscle/could be heart, all I know is I'm in pain and the nurse said I should get to urgent care immediately....I get there to be told it's 1 1/2 hr wait...so much for urgency, again could be my muscle but I'm nervous of the location and that it could be my ticker, but apparently this clinic will give you the option to go "code blue" in the waiting room/in your car in the meantime....btw they didn't even have the decency to tell me how long the wait was until they took my info and got my signature agreeing to be seen here, to which I left(I need URGENT care, not a slug going through molasses in January)...if i find out you guys charged my insurance for "seeing me", then you will see me....in court."

"Got to urgent care at 3:30pm on a Sunday. Urgent care doesn’t close until 5. On all their doors they had signs that urgent care was closed due to wait times?? Are you kidding? Nothing was locked up and you could still talk to the front desk. Waiting room wasn’t even full. But yet they wouldn’t take my 5yr old who had an ear infection? It takes 15 seconds to look in a child’s ear. I know because I had already looked in her ear with an otoscope and knew 100% she had an infection prior to hopping in the car and driving all the way there.. I can see maybe 30-45 minutes early closure but honestly an hour and a half is NOT acceptable. DO YOUR JOB! I ended up driving 30 minutes back home to the ER because everywhere else was closed or closing shortly and I wasn’t driving to the cities. I told her ER doctor how much I appreciated him and the staff and told him our experience earlier and he looked and sounded really disgusted.. “wow, how lucky are they that they get to decide to be done whenever they feel like it?”"

"When Dr. HARL was there it was a 5 star rating. The quality of care hasn't been the same since he left. He actually cared about his patients."

"Nice short wait at Urgent Care. I was brought to a room just after a few mementos. You could tell things were in disarray because of construction going on. But, they were well staffed and made sure I was not lost in the building. I had great MA am PA's. They were friendly and had sense of humor. The made me feel at esse. My visit was over before I knew it. I really liked their Urgent Care. My medicine was ready at the pharmacy as soon as I got there."
