"We started at Mis Amigos, Excelsior in September 2023 and could not have made a better decision for our 3 year old daughter. The teachers here do not just educate, they nuture, inspire and genuinely care for each child. My husband and I do not speak Spanish, and I am in awe my daughters Spanish vocabulary and comprehension at this young age. The classroom activities and curriculum are thoughtfully designed to engage, while fostering creativity, critical thinking and social development. The classes are small and all the children are truly friends and interact so well with one another. It is clear my daughter feels valued, supported and encouraged to shine. We love maestra Martha, but every staff member we interact with treats our daughter like their own and is so happy to see her when she arrives at school for the day. Most importantly, my daughter looks forward to going to school every day."

"We have had both of our kids attend Mis Amigos. It has been amazing to watch them become completely comfortable and fluent in Spanish. This has prepared them so well for moving into Spanish immersion in the Minnetonka district. It is wonderful having native speakers teaching the children as the kids are even learning the proper accents. All the staff at Mis Amigos Excelsior have been very kind and incredibly passionate working with the kids. Our son loves going to school and his teacher Maestra Maria. Each day he comes home with new stories of what they are learning. My wife and I do not have a background in speaking Spanish. I would recommend Mis Amigos Excelsior for any family looking to expose their children to the Spanish language and culture."

"All three of our kids have attended Mis Amigos and our youngest is currently enrolled at the new Excelsior location. I cannot say enough great things! I have been most impressed with the staff - Mis Amigos takes such great care of their staff and there is minimal staff turnover. To me, that is a huge benefit and something uncommon across many childcare centers. I was also very impressed with their willingness to support working families. My job doesn’t always afford me a lot of flexibility and while other childcare centers are quick to shut down due to a snow storm, Mis Amigos does all it can to remain open to accommodate families who need childcare. My oldest two are enrolled in Spanish immersion elementary school and the added exposure ahead of time has given them a huge advantage in the classroom. I truly cannot say enough good things about Mis Amigos - they have become like a family to my family over the years!"
