"Dirty...including dirty bed sheets. Stains covered by bath towels, yet bed made. Really?? Didn't eat continental breakfast because....you get the rest of the story. Still haven't got my room rate refund promised. Went to Grand Forks for the Toto/Journey concert."

"The pics they show are not anything like what is at site! This place is a horrendous, horrible nightmare! I would never ever stay there again, I almost feel like it’s false advertising as they fixed up one suite then rent out others that are mouldy, decorated from the 70’s, air con broken & makes noise, nothing matched like bedding totally different terrible patterns compared to curtains even worse! It was ok from outside, I thought ..but would not pay more ever than 40.00 a night! And still would need slippers to walk on Floor…disappointed & disgusting!"

"Stayed here Oct 2023. Couldn't get a king bed that I had reserved...they gave it away...rooms stink...some burnt out kid working who I believe used my credit card. Only place I use my card on our trip was at this hotel and I get home 6 days later got a bunch of charges I didn't do...so only place was at the Knoghts Inn. So if you want an old stinky room with someone who will use your credit card stay here?"

"An emphatic NO. We just checked in, yikes. Bedspreads, sheets, & towels are visibly dirty or stained. Tub is moldy & has hair in it. Every surface in the room is covered in dust, cobwebs, or greasy pizza(?) slime. It's gonna be a long night. Guy at the desk is friendly, but offered nothing other than new towels, hopefully they'll be clean. Run away, friends. RUN AWAY!!! Update: we didn't make it 15 minutes here. I've tent camped, I figured I can handle it. My husband was done when he saw the booger on the wall by the bed. Both of us were already not feeling great from the musty smell. No thanks. GF appears to be sold out of rooms. We'd rather sleep in our car. Off to Walmart to buy a blanket & 2 pillows. Car camping it is."

"Not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but not the greatest either. Pool was down for maintenance so that was a bummer, but I understand it needs to be done. Our room was decent at best; outdated, and there was visible damage to the room when we got there (cracked door frames, bubbled paint, the bed frame was bent/curved at the end toward the middle, and even a few small holes in the walls). The bathroom was SMALL!!!! Going to the bathroom you would almost sit right on the toilet paper as you sat down. Tub was alright and probably the cleanest thing in the room. The top "blanket" on our bed was wide, but not very long. If you wanted to cover your shoulders your feet would be uncovered and it was SUPER thin, almost like another sheet. We ended up bringing our "in case of emergency" blankets in from our cars. Our phone didn't work at all so when there was an issue or a need for communication we had to walk all the way to the opposite end of the building (and the front desk staff had to come to us). They did allow us to extend our stay no problem which was nice, and they are pet friendly! Staff was extremely friendly too. I just think they need to update a few things in the rooms and then they absolutely would get a better review. Still a great value hotel."
