"I shopped at Cub Wine & Spirits this Sunday morning, 17 Mar 24, in Rosemount. I shop there every couple of weeks or so and it is usually a pleasant experience. However, this morning the lady helping me seemed confused about retrieving my birthday information from my Active Duty Military ID card; that is the same card I used during previous visits, and for every identification purpose other than driving related activities for over the last 30 years. I overheard her even make a point to ask the next customer for their State ID, which I felt was inappropriate and a possible attempt to make fun of me as though I did something wrong. I suggest retraining the staff become familiar with other forms of identification besides just a drivers license, especially federal or national identifications, which are far more strinent than a state driver's license. Hence, is why we are shifting to Real IDs. I also recommend to reemphasis the staff treat all customers with dignity and respect. Ken"
