"Our toilet was randomly overflowing all over the bathroom floor in the middle of the night at 3:00 a.m. when we were all asleep, so I called Allied to have a plumber come out. They said they’d be out Thursday, but then called on Wednesday and were already in the area, so they showed up a day early (which was nice.) The plumber, Daniel, was great. Very polite. He fixed a leak in our toilet that we’d been dealing with for a while, but was unable to determine the source of the overflowing toilet. He flushed it several times and it seemed to be working fine. He offered to run a snake down the sewer line, but as this would cost even more money, I declined since it seemed whatever had been clogging the toilet had already dislodged. All in all, he was here for maybe 10 minutes and did nothing more than flush the toilet and tighten something in the commode with a wrench….this cost $200. The price was shocking for what little work he actually did in our home. $49 for the service fee and $150 for tightening something with a wrench that took literally three seconds. All in all, the plumber was great but the prices are way too steep in my opinion."

"After a terrible contractor created a nightmare of my dream bathroom, I called Allied for help repairing and finishing the remodel. Mike was dispatched a week later, and was able to do the work that same day. He explained what he was doing, why, and what had been done wrong. If he didn't have to tear something apart, he didn't fix what wasn't broken, but he did let me know what signs to look for in case the work the previous contractor had done ever becomes broken. He took proactive steps to remedy little things he knew would eventually turn into leaks, such as a kinked pex line the contractor had improperly installed. He was quick to read manufacturer's instructions and follow them. He installed my bathtub in a mortar bed, Roman faucet, shower system, and toilet. He did exploratory surgery where the previous contractor had sealed the shut-off valves inside the wall, installed an access panel, and will come back to finish my sink once I purchase a missing gasket. Everything about my experience with Mike was such a breath of fresh air. For the first time in this story of chaos, I felt at ease. I could work on other things without having to watch over him. He was exceptionally professional and competent. Once he got started, he was hyperfocused on his work and virtually impossible to distract. The price was very reasonable, too. Usually you have to choose 2 out of 3 between fast, cheap, and good quality; but in this case, I got all 3 with Allied Plumbing."
