Cub Liquor - Plymouth

"My 1st time here @ Cub Foods liquor store, this evening & it was great! 2/10/24 Saturday. We were greeted and before I asked a question, the woman cashier showed me that all the liquor with white & red sticker signs were 50%off original price! How did she know me?! I love a deal! We were there actually to get some THC sparkling cans, because we got a deal on Facebook when we turn in our receipt. I don't drink but 1x a month, but I'll def be back for the sake of the sale items I just grabbed photos of! Enjoy! Also, I didn't get photos of the back wall that had the make your own 6 pk of beer for $10.99. That's awesome. I'd definitely go here again. We knew about the carding, because we saw the sign ahead of time. Plus we don't come here all the time, so maybe that makes a difference?"

"I'm tired of getting carded at cub liquors. I'm 47 years old and I am clearly old enough. Cub is really the only place that ever cards me. Not only do they card me they make me take it out of my wallet so that they can scan it. I don't blame the cashier. This is a cub policy. And it speaks to the quality of people they are hiring. If they would hire people with common sense they wouldn't have gotten caught not carding people that were underage."

"Rudest manager in the liquor store. Bad customer service. Have never seen anything like that before . I will never go back to that store. the worker follow and questions my group if we had ID .. acting like we have never gone to an liquor store before . Followed us everywhere acting like we was going to steal something because we was Asians .. we also did not see them do that to other groups that came in. Never been treated like this before in a liquor store. Wish I could give them no stars. Also threatened us that they will not ring us up because we question them about how they treated us. We did not give them our service and left to a different store."

"Old blond cashier targeted my group that consisted of three Asian women and one white man the minute we walked into the store… she stopped doing her job as a cashier just to come and ask only our group if we had our IDs and we all responded that we did.. after that the “District manager” and cashier both proceeded to argue with us about showing ID (which we had no problem doing so) and refused to check any other costumers out just to target us for not ringing our alcohol together. He threatened to cancel the first transaction and after more disputes he did. While I had no problem continuing my transaction with my ID already out and seen; the cashier and district manager both continued to dispute, so we simply got tired of being targeted and walked out without any products. They had showed nothing but annoyed and hateful attitude towards my group since the minute we walked in. Don’t put up with kind of behavior and waste your time!"

"Rude staff. Targets minorities because they didn’t think everyone can show their IDs???? The cashier literally stopped scanning and caused a long line just to stop us?? If that’s the case shouldn’t they have someone at the door checking IDs before entering? Everyone in my group had their IDs and are 21+. Spoke with the district manager who told us he can cancel our order, so we told him go ahead. Brought our business some where else… please don’t act like your the only liquor store opened the day after Christmas… that’s probably why they have such bad reviews already."
