"My first and last time coming. I goofed unique waxing thinking I was booking an appointment at the promenade. My app was at 11am. When I went to the promenade I realized it was the wrong location but since I had already put a $40 deposit down I went to the correct location. I was 20 mins late, the first thing I asked Selma Hamirani was should I rebook? Or come back later? I had absolutely no problem paying another deposit since it was my fault for not double checking where I booked since I assumed Little Rock still only had one location called unique waxing etc. she told me no it was fine. Selma started my wax, I booked under arm & full Brazilian wax. While laying on the table she then said she didn’t know (she’s the one I talked to and cashapp’d for my appointment) this was my first time coming.. (?).. xyz I would’ve had you come in 10 mins earlier. So she goes to say trimming is an extra $10. Ok that’s fine. She waxes my underarms first then start on my bikini. Im very familiar with waxing but I haven’t been in close to 2 years, just doing it at home. So she’s ripping the wax strips off fast but not holding the area she just removed the hair from with her extra hand.. I mention it she gets upset, I let her know the wax was extremely hot, she got upset with that so I asked her to wrap it up don’t finish. Then thought to myself, na this woman gone finish since I half way paid & she still gonna charge me full service.. she had an attitude because I asked her to keep removing the hair she “said” couldn’t be removed- but every time she removed the wax strip the hair came off. Least to say I had a very unpleasant experience, they lost a customer who’s looking for a esthetician. I will continue to book At unique waxing in the promenade or European wax center, where I know I will get good service."

"I use to get my Brazilian wax here all the time when they’re were open on Chenal. I just left my appointment hands down the worst experience I ever had. She was entirely too rough and chaotic. 0/10 they definitely went down hill!"

"My kitty hasn’t seen a razor for 20+ years. She’s been maintained exclusively by waxing; Brazilian style. I’ve traveled a bit and moved a few times throughout the United States and Europe, so I’ve been to more salons than i care to admit. Trust me when I say that the lady who runs Unique is by far one of the top two. (She is tied for first place with a woman in a salon in Colleyville, TX over 10 years ago.) She was professional, pleasant, accommodating, efficient and lightning fast. My skin was barely affected; hardly any discomfort. (If anyone has ever had a bad waxing experience they will tell you that it can be EXCRUCIATINGLY painful!) I hardly felt any discomfort!! This lady is amazing!! She is undoubtedly one of the best in the country; definitely the best in the state of Arkansas!"

"I'll start by saying I've been a loyal customer for over a year and was a part of their membership program, meaning I paid monthly and had standing appointments. I was a little annoyed when they ended the program really without any warning, but the services have always been great, pricing decent, and I like the technicians (shout-out Gabi!) so I was willing to pay slightly more to continue getting that service. However, since they have moved to the one location on Cantrell (and changed management perhaps?), it has become IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment. The app does not allow me to schedule, so I have been calling weekly for several months to try and get the "next available". The woman who answers always takes my name and number and promises to call me back, and never does. Yesterday I tried to explain this to a different woman who answered, who said it looks like they are booked through September (ridiculous). But okay, fine, schedule me for September just so I can get back on the list! What does she say? "I'll have to take a look and call you back." And, of course, never does. I used to love this place but customer service has really gone downhill since Jan/Feb and I'm disappointed they are ignoring even long-time patrons. I managed to find four salons in LR with availability this week, so I probably won't be returning to Unique Threading."

The staff is very professional and kind. The salon is always neat and clean. & I love my girls Gabby & Magenta. I can definitely count on them to perform any service."
