"Pretty disappointed with my haircut. I have thick 3c hair and it's difficult finding a hairstylist to cut my hair. I went once before several years ago and got my hair cut by the same person, but the service feels completely different. The haircut is pretty uneven and looks particularly bad from the front. And despite me having thick 3c hair, he styled my hair like it was thin 2a hair. My hair dried super frizzy and two days later the product was flaking everywhere. I was hopeful that once I got back and styled it myself it would look better, but that wasn't the case. I agree with the last post, felt like the owner was just trying to sell their products to me and didn't consider my needs or hair type. Overall, felt like he didn't know how to handle my hair type (or didn't want to put in the effort to do so) and I don't think it's worth the $120."

"charged $120 for a haircut. never did i know i was signing up for this “expensive treatment” he washed and “styled” my hair. i went in to get a simple butterfly haircut because no one knows how to cut my hair and thought this would be the place. left looking worse than how i came in. the haircut was fine but the guy did not listen to what i wanted. didn’t get the butterfly cut i wanted. instead styled my hair with the products he sold and focused on trying to sell me them. thought i was sitting through an ad the whole time. he didn’t listen to what i wanted. all he tried to do was sell me his product and talk about himself. didn’t know i was going to be charged 120$ for a simple haircut. that’s all i wanted. left with no money to my name and a horrible hairdo. knew what he was talking about but still missed the mark on my texture of hair. the most awful gut wrenching experience of my life. but if you have the money go for it. he obviously only knows how to work with thicker curly hair. my hair is fine but thick and curly and styled it like it was coarse. i knew more abt my hair than he did."

"I love this salon. I went to Holly as a teenager and she showed me a whole new world on how to take care of my hair that previously I had always hated and seen as a burden. Since seeing her, I’ve learned to love the hair I have because I learned how to give it what it needed. I lived out of state for almost ten years after that but I’m back for awhile now and Mary Beth has been every bit of a blessing to my hair. I’m grateful for this salon and it’s knowledgeable employees."
