"Our contractor built a deck with treated lumber that came from Hatfield lumber. This was built in 2015. We have not been able to use the deck for the last 2 years because the "treated" lumber rotted and the deck became unsafe to walk on. I have been dealing with the supplier (Home Lumber in Winfield KS.) since 2020 trying to get this issue resolved. Unfortunately when I call its always the same story. They say they have resolved the issue and Hatfield Lumber admits the lumber was bad and will call back with the solution, but they never do. Be cautious with lumber that comes from this mill and sold through this supplier."
"Good prices for what looks like good product (we haven't unbanded the bundle yet). Important information that we did not have after driving almost an hour to get there...they do not accept any credit cards. Cash or check only. There's an ATM at the local gas station but not at the bank. You can only withdraw $200 at a time, with ATM and bank fees it increased the cost of our trip quite a bit."
"Great place to deliver. They processed my paperwork and unloaded me in a very reasonable time frame. They were also very friendly."
"Sent to load lumber that didn't exist. Gave me another load. It wasn't ready for hours. There over 6 hours. Everyone was nice."
"Bought some of their No. 1 treated lumber from a lumber yard in Mazie, Ok and if that is number 1 I'd hate to see the number two. Full of knots and bark and had to cut around everything to build a deck. Terrible lumber. Won't buy again."
