"I've been impressed with the Planet Fitness Crystal Lake location. I really like that the gym is open 24/7 and the equipment is pretty new. I work odd hours throughout the day so having an evening gym option to work out is helpful for my schedule. I wish the gym was closer to me, but that is ok. Staff are friendly and professional. "I like the laid back feel where there's no pressure about how you look, it's a very diverse population of members which is refreshing. I enjoy the fact that everybody just comes and does their thing with nobody bothering anyone else. It's consistently clean which is important to me, it's one of the reasons why I joined because I like a clean club with clean equipment and clean bathrooms/locker rooms. And the color purple is great!"

"A good, non-pretentious workout spot that doesn't take itself too seriously is a gift from heaven. I've only been in two clubs but both were well maintained even during the after work crowd. Their rates are super reasonable. And I really appreciate their extended hours which make it very convenient for me to be able to hit the gym whenever I'm free. Did I mention their rates are really reasonable? Even there premium plan ( PF Plus black card ) is less than half of what I was paying at another franchise. Totally worth the switch."
