"My wife and I stopped in to look at their selection of tiles. We walked in and said hello to an associate in the front of the store and waved from about 15 feet away. No response. We walked over and started browsing through the tiles.We did this for approximately 15 minutes. No one came up to say hello or may I help you. There were at least 5 associates in the store and none even looked up from their desks. It was like they were purposely ignoring us. We left and will never go back. I have rarely experienced such uncaring customer service from a retail establishment."

"As a small business owner of a flooring company and a former Assistant Manager that distributed Prefinshed Engineered Flooring to Encore I am appalled how my first and last transaction with Encore transpired. Initially I was provided great customer service by one of the representatives who helped me source out a small amount of Prefinshed flooring to prevent a client from having to tear-out their entire existing floor. It wasn’t until after the client closed on the house that we were able to determine we ordered the wrong thickness. Mind you when you’re closing on a house you can not remove or demo anything in the home while the house is in closing. Needless to say we had to return the flooring. We were made to wait two and a half weeks before Encore accepted the flooring and charged a restocking fee that totaled half the amount of the overall transaction. Lastly, I was supposedly issued a check via mail that still hasn’t arrived and it’s been a total of twelve working business days. I have reached out to a Supervisor about this matter, the Sales Representative who was in charge of the transaction, and the payroll department and I still haven’t been reimbursed. I believe in respectfully airing your grievances and making the public aware of shawty customer service. I hope no other small business or patron has to experience this type of service."
