"Can’t say I would bother renting from here again. I recently picked up 3 auger bits to volunteer time to drill holes for a local school. A1 rental in Navarre had offered us a 15 percent discount as it was going to a local school. I failed to pick these items up in time and had no choice but to run to Delano rentals where I was sorta laughed at when I asked if they would offer any sort of discount since it’s a project for the schools. Fine I paid full price 150 bucks. What really got me was when I showed up an hour and a half late this morning to return the bits and the kid behind the counter decided to charge me an additional 60 bucks for being late. I paid this without issue and rather then arguing I will just no longer do business with Delano rentals and the guy who had referred me there was appalled that they were like that. The only reason for a 2 Starr review is because Sonny and his partner where awesome guys to chat with."

"I did not have a great experience here this weekend. It's disappointing because I prefer to support local small businesses. I went to rent a wallpaper steamer. When I arrived I should have followed my initial gut reaction; it looked so old I was doubtful it was actually going to work 100%. After working with it for an hour and a half, it did produce some steam but also multiple holes on the steam plate stream water out of them at the same time. I continued to try and make it work but my floors were getting covered in water and the wall was getting drenched, not steamed. When I took the equipment back for a return, I was told "they gave me the wrong length of hose". But "just in case", I was given the second steamer, a second hose, and all the back up steaming plates. Two hours later and an incredible amount of frustration revealed the second machine, just as old, was no better. It didn't matter how long we waited or how we held up the steaming plate, too much water was pouring out the bottom. I called the store and gave them a heads up that I was bringing it all back. At the store I was accused of trying to commit "fraud" and I was treated like I was trying to scam them from $43. I was told "no one else has complained about this". I was frustrated with wasting so much of my day trying to get old, heavy equipment to work. I felt misunderstood and talked down to. We have been loyal customers but it didn't matter. After I left they checked the equipment and deemed it "working', and still charged me for a two hour rental. I will never rent from them again. Sometimes it pays to shop the big box stores. PS. Steamers have modernized; despite what I was told. Shop around - they are lightweight, easy to use, and steam."

We recently rented a tent, tables, chairs and linens for our wedding. Delano rental answered all of our questions, responded to emails quickly and most importantly everything arrived when promised. And she saved our wedding from being a cold, muddy, wet disaster by providing last-minute gutters and elegant looking side walls for the tents, as well as heat lamps. The whole experience was stress-free and easy. They answered my hundred and one questions and even invited us to come into the shop to see things in person. Everything was delivered and picked up on schedule by a friendly and professional work crew. I'd use Delano Rental again in a heartbeat!"
